The title says it all!!!

I'll start :goodvibes although I've probably bored you all to tears by now saying yet again how we're going for a 2 night visit in May for my 50th. It will seem very strange as we have never been for less than 5 nights before but I didn't dare book for longer as one of my DDs will be in the middle of her GCSEs and will need to be back at school to attend half-term revision classes. We are maximising our time as best as we can by staying on-site instead of the Explorers. We've already planned our meals ::yes:: first day at Walt's and second day (my birthday) at Inventions where I am looking forward to celebrating with a glowtini in my favourite Fantasia bar. :cloud9: We'll probably finish up with a late lunch (although not too late because I don't want to miss any characters ;) ) at Cafe Mickey on our last day.

OK, who's next?

I am in no way in the same league planning-wise as you Elaine ;), but we are off on our longest trip ever in March. Lots of firsts on this trip - first whole weekend there (bit scary) first fireworks (St Patricks Day) and hopefully first ride on Parachute Drop (it was either closed or too busy in October, and you know what I'm like for queueing - 20 minutes maximum).

Hoping to do a first meal at Walts too, and this trip has turned into an early birthday pressie for both my DD and Dniece, so there will be a joint birthday cake at some point in the proceedings as well :goodvibes.

Well so far i have 2 trips planned for next year, one next week and one in June.
The one next week is the one i am not exactly jumping up and down with excitment about although i am not dreading it so much as i was. I plan to go to Val d'Europe which is a first for me and also a bit like you Elaine it will be my first full weekend there which is very scary. :scared1:
I would like to do the lunch at Walts as i have never been in there before (not even stepped foot inside the door) as DD nevr liked the look of the menu. I plan to do all the bits and pieces i have never done and maybe one afternoon grab a cocktail in the Redwood bar and sit and have a read.

June i am going with my sister in law for 2 nights so it will be manic, i hope it is nice and warm, hot even which would make a nice change.

Another first.....mine and DD (5) first trip to any Disney!!!! I can't wait and we only have 2 weeks left until we go :cool1::cool1::cool1:
We are going for 4 nights in Santa Fe with my Sis-in-law and niece (18) who have been to DLP and WDW many times. I think I'm the most excited out of us all!! :rotfl2:

well i have no confirmed trips planned as yet, well none to DLRP! We are off to WDW for 2 weeks in May :cool1: so i think we might be a little thin on the DLP trips in 2011. I very much doubt we will get any in before we go to WDW in May and May is when we would often do a Paris trip so i recon the earliest we will get to Paris is Sept and we may even leave it til December, so nearly a whole year without a trip :scared1:. although we do still have our free trip (To make up for our terrible trip to DCR in Sept for DD's 1st birthday) so maybe we could use that for her second birthday in Sept. But who knows!!!

so far i only have one trip planned. ashleigh starts school in sept and i dont really want to take her out. i also dont want to deal with crowds or pay what the charge for school holidays soooo i might only go once next year.

on the bright side it will be our longest trip. i have booked seven nights and our flight on our last day doesnt leave till half seven, usually it leaves at one.

i also have free meals so i will try to go to some new restaraunts, i was thinking about the blue lagoon.

So it isn't DLP but our plans are for 2 or 3 trips to WDW.
1. Feb 25-March 4 at the Swan, this is for DH conference, 1st time for my mom to come to WDW with us.

2. March 26-April 4, spring break with DSS his 2nd time to WDW since we got married.

3. Possible trip to WDW around March 11 with DD who lives in Florida. Or she and I may go to Paris for her Spring break which is only 7 days. And she wants to go to DLP.

We've got our longest ever trip - 4 nights at Empire State Club (which I always fancied for the chilled out breakfasts and VIP fastpass, although it was a tough call as its much more than DLH!), with a night either end at the Kyriad so we will get 5 full days in the park.

We've a few firsts planned too - Walts (this looks like a theme!), TSPL rides (too busy at xmas), Star Tours (never quite made it that far), and really looking forward to being able to chill out and relax as the weather should be better (we've done Feb, April and December before!) and as we're there for longer I may (only may) lose the commando attitude!

I've planned restaurants for all 5 days (how bad does that sound?!) - Inventions, BBWWS, Restaurant des Stars, Walts and Plaza Gardens, trying hard not to plan our days out just yet.....................

As you are all probably sick of hearing by now, I've booked up for June, 2 nights at Sequoia Lodge  If 40% comes back though, I'm hoping to upgrade to my favourite Hotel New York again, though, fingers crossed.
It's an important trip because its to celebrate my graduation, and a scary one because after over 4 years together I'm finally dragging my Disney-hating, sceptical boyfriend to DLP. There is a good chance he'll hate it, but I really really hope he likes it. I'm not expecting him to love it!
Planning wise, its tough to narrow down the restaurant choices as I loved them all in November. Definitely Annette's and probably Walt's. And either the Steakhouse or maybe California Grill (depends how much spending money we can save up, but BF is a bit of a foody so this is one part of the trip he'll definitely like)
I was originally thinking of another wee trip with my sister later in the year, but everything past June is a mystery at the moment until I can find a job, and maybe have to move wherever that may take me...if it's a good enough job maybe I could start saving for WDW...but the way the graduate job market is I'll be lucky to get anything at all!
So for now the thought of 2 short nights in the magic is getting me through the last horrible 6 months of uni. Roll on June!
Happy New Year to everyone and Happy Planning!

it will be our 2nd trip at the begining of february, myself, hubby, mother in law dd x2 ds x2 santa fe(again). really looking forward to seeing it cars themed (any comments DLPdaft/ is it very different?)
a definate 1st for us is going to be trying the fantasyland breakfast.
we went in feb earlier this year and are fully prepared for the weather. the best thing is how short the queues are!
really getting excited now!!:yay:

A 40th birthday celebration with three friends in January, Hotel New York, because unfortunately the wellness area at Disneyland Hotel will be closed during our stay :sad1:.
Only three weeks later we spend five days in Disney World (daughter, parents and I).
Hopefully one day DisneySea in Tokyo in march.

I'm still hoping for Disneyland Hongkong or Tokyo in summer, but it seems impossible to book hotel rooms in Japan "only" six months in advance and for some reason my husband thinks that Hongkong isn't nice , we'll see...

Off to DLP at the end of February on a school trip! Staying at the Cheyenne and looking forward to seeing all of the new attractions.:goodvibes

Also hoping that this time next year, I will be in the process of booking my first ever trip to WDW for 2012.:thumbsup2

We are off to Disneyland California the first week of Easter holidays as I found some 'cheap' flights and we have AP's from last summer.

Then on the same day we had booked the Los Angeles flights - only an hour later, checked my e-mails and we had won our Disneyland Paris break to SL for 2 nights for March.

Also booked our summer break to WDW in August for 2 weeks - this was supposed to be our only only Disney fix in 2011 and was booked soem time ago.

If DH says a word about being Disney'ed out this year, I'll kill him:confused3:rotfl: - he actually used those words on a 2 week WDW one time - but we didn't move off property that time - nowadays we usually visit another park or two - but to be honest, it's a struggle to prise myself away from the Disney parks.

its had a cosmetic makeover - Cars on the billboard out front, silver lightnin strikes in the floor in the main reception block, Cars pics on the walls, Cars bedspreads, and Cars background music. I think its great :goodvibes.

We're taking our Son to DLP for his first time!!!! :goodvibes I cannot wait to see his face!

We're going in March, staying at Santa Fe - can't wait to see the new theme!

Hoping to get back there in late 2011 or maybe do a Disney cruise instead.

I've got my first WDW trip coming up in May :cool1: which I'm so excited for. Hopefully then, I'll be able to spend 2/3 nights at DLP in october for halloween too.

2012... I'm dreamin of California :goodvibes

Will be heading to DLP next week. Stay at Santa Fé. No other DLP trips booked yet but will keep to our rythm of one trip per month I guess :)
In July we'll do a 10 night Disney Cruise from Barcelona.

Hope you have a great time in May, Elaine. I have the same problem as you with a son taking GCSEs this year so am undecided about half term and also even Easter which we always do as son has extra lessons then as well. My first booked trip is to the SF for three nights at the end of January with my daughter. As there will only be the two of us we are not taking the car but travelling by ferry overnight to Caen then TGV and RER. Should be interesting! We will definitely go for our usual family trip mid-July but haven’t decided where we will stay yet – we usually stay offsite then. Hoping to visit at Halloween again next year too as we missed it this year.

I'm not sure what we'll do yet, at the moment I have transferred our cancelled Christmas trip to 28th March 3 nights at SL but I'm hoping I can change the dates again and go for 4 nights on 6th June at HNY with DH instead of MIL, keep your fingers crossed for me!!

If I can do that then will try and arrange another attempt at a Disney Christmas with MIL but DD starts school in September so that will complicate things, but that's a worry for another day, and if only all of life's worries were so small eh?!! :goodvibes
