so, what are you drinking? (NON-alcoholic! :)

I'm a bit of a Diet Coke-a-holic. I keep trying to cut back but......

I do try to limit myself to one a day but I don't always make it. My favorite substitute is iced tea. I make sun tea and then add a pod of lemonade Crystal Light to a gallon of tea. Probably not any healthier but a lot easier on the budget.

We drink less than a handful of soda's a year. We drink mostly iced tea and water. I find those more thirst quenching than soda.

water, ice, lemons, strawberries and a little stevia or honey
water with sliced cucumbers
water with lime
decaf coffee
ginger ale (sugar free) from Trader Joes (this is also good mixed with OJ)

I love caffeine free Diet Pepsi! :rolleyes1

We are addicted to iced tea with Sweet N Low. I buy Sweet N Low three boxes at a time. Need to get ourselves off of it but I haven't found anything with no/low calories that DH likes as much.

Diet Coke junkie trying to cut back here....

I buy the Target version of Crystal Light sticks. Right now I am drinking the Cranberry Cosmopolitan flavor. I just like to pretend it is a real Cosmo.... :rotfl2:

What is the difference between this pitcher and just throwing the sliced lemons etc. right in a regular pitcher. (honest question not being snarky) I've seen these at spas and wondered if somehow they made the flavor stronger?

my thoughts exactly...i can buy alotta fruit for $19.99 plus shipping.

I know you said not water, but what I do is flavor my water. I will juice a lemon and use the juice and a little stevia which makes it taste like lemonade with no calories. The stevia is also from a plant which makes it healthier than other sugar substitutes. I also have bought different flavored stevias and just added that to my water. It's a way to drink my water every and still get some variety. :goodvibes

Where do you find different flavor stevias? I did not know there were different flavors.

I love my Diet Dr Pepper. But I have tried the Zevia with the stevia. I really like them but they do cost alot.

I had a huge Diet Dr. Pepper addiction, but started drinking Crystal Light Peach Tea, and now don't really drink any soda at all. Lots of water and Peach Tea.

I love Crystal Light's Pure Fitness line (a little real sugar and a little stevia). I mix a packet to 32oz of water instead of 16, though.

OP here ~ Thank you everyone for all the great ideas.

So the above tea and crystal light combo ~ is that like an Arnold Palmer Half and Half? Can you tell me exactly how you make it, because the AP isn't cheap!

Low fat milk. With ovaltine if you like a chocolate malt flavour (there is no caffeine in ovaltine), and you can also have it hot. Juice--I like to mix orange and cranberry. POM brand pomegranate juice is delicious. Also fruit/herbal teas--I have a mango tea that is really nice hot or cold.

Faygo flavored carbonated water with a splash of fruit juice. I've been trying to get off the drink (diet pepsi) for a while now and while I've cut it down extremely, I still need a bit of "bubbles" every day and this does the trick.

I love celestial seasonings raspberry zinger and bigelow peach ice teas.

just water with fresh cut lemon wedges :goodvibes
