laptop. Went middle of the road pricewise, but DD insisted (she paid for it) that it be black so she actually paid $150 more for it . She got a student discount, free nano and free printer/scanner/copier (after rebates). They were installing a few extras we bough so we have to go pick it up tomorrow. She'll be taking it to college in a couple of weeks. but hopefully I'll get to play with it a little before she leaves.

If anyone else is on the fence mac v. pc, I recommend a mac even though it's more expensive.

DS 16 owns a Mac (birthday/Christmas gift last year) and he loves it!! Never a probelm, great for games and graphics.

I have the Mac Book Pro....I love it!! I was on the fence between Mac and a PC, but I'm really glad I went with the Mac. I love it and would highly recommend it.

I love the videos, music, websites, etc. that you can publish, and it's so easy!!

I have a mac (desktop) and I love it! My old PC has always crashed...then finally it crashed and burned.... bleh. But my Mac is awesome! I love it! <3 It hasn't freezed once! *knocks on wood*
