You do help put things into perspective for me. I can't imagine what it must be like to lose so much more in fires, hurricanes, etc.

How many times have we all thought about what we would grab if we had to get out fast? I'm sure it wouldn't be my Disney items, but more my pictures, etc.

I doubt we'll be able to find most of what was damaged. I know that I won't be collecting any more snow globes after this, though!

Plastic is good... Pardon the smile. When we were evacuated due to the fires, some of my Disney treasures were taken. I know how important they are to me. I hope you are feeling a bit better.

I think this trip was jinxed. I just found out two rolls of my film were overdeveloped!

Daughter lost her autograph book, I left my camera in the hanging bag on Dinosaur (took until the park almost closed before it was turned in - thank goodness!), Mom and my youngest had a bad fall at the Poly and the paramedics had to come (they're OK now), etc. Just lots of little things happened.

OK, now I'm dwelling on the lost pics instead of the Disney room.

Must get a grip, must get a grip...

I know just how you feel. I had a shelf with about $4000 worth of Cherrished Teddies that fell of my wall. I cried for about 3 hours. Most of them had been given to me for special occasions and were ruined beyond repair.. To this day I still get sad when I see one. I stopped collecting after that

I'm sorry for you. I only lost 2 figurines (one I had from the time I was a very little girl) and I cried. I can't imagine losing all those pieces.
