Just booked a trip to Disney during 12/11-12/18 and ONCE AGAIN:headache:, I'm unable to get Le Cellier. I tried from 12-8 each day that we'll be there, but no luck. Are there any tips or anything that I should try so my husband can have his dream meal??

Yes you need to try at exactly 180 days out. I realize you just booked your trip, but forsome of the more popular restaurants, this is what is takes.

Keep calling back, people always cancel.

Also they usually open at 11 and close at 9...if you wanted to search all day for times! :)

jsut keep trying, go in to the online system several times a day & you may luck out sooner later...especially when it gets close to the 45 day package pay-off date you may see some cancellations happen when people decide not to go.

And people do change their minds all the time about which places to eat...there will be two new restaurants open in Epcot World Showcase by the time you go...could be some will drop current reservations when they open up reservations for the new places.

Your dates are during the Chrismas season. Could they be reserving some capacity for the Candlelight Processional packages? That might be your best bet (are they even on sale yet or sold out already?)

Don't be so hard on yourself.:grouphug: I tried to get a reservation right at 180 days and still struck out! How is that even possible?!?! :rotfl2: My dates are similar: 12/16-12/24.

Keep trying...or try the CLP DP...they haven't started taking reservations for that yet.

Don't give up sweetie! When we went last year - I was told there was no way. But i was stubborn and I did not give up...I called every day...and I got in! You can do it! You'll get it!:goodvibes

Because they were gone at 190 days because of the glitch

What they said. You're not going at a busy time, so the chances are good that someone will cancel an ADR. I recommend subscribing to the December ADR Cancellation thread. Good luck to you! :)

(I, on the other hand, will probably not be as lucky, since I just booked 2 weeks ago and are going Thanksgiving week! :lmao:)

Keep checking. Chances are you someone will cancel and it will open up between now and when you travel but you do need to check obsessively.

Le Cellier is a small restaurant to begin with and it appears that there are only two people in your dining party which is even harder to get because they don't have many tables for 2.

Not only are you past 180 days but in December they hold back about half the restaurant for the Candlelight Processional packages. Try to get one of those, or try to see if anyone cancels a regular reservation to get a package once they're released.

Get online everyday and keep trying. I did this earlier this year and, with a week left, finally landed the reservation. Also, if you try different party numbers, that can help. For example, if it is just the 2 of you and you put that in, Disney will only search for tables for 2, not larger tables that could accomodate you. So if you try 4, a table may pop up that wouldn't have if you put in 2. I got a reservation like this, and you just tell them when you check in that there will only be 2. We had no issue and were sat at a table for 2 (not stealing anyone's table for 4) I don't think it works the other way around though, as far as flexing up to a bigger party. Good luck, and keep trying.

You will probably get it if you keep trying. I've always been able to eventually get what I wanted. A little side note though - sometimes I've wished I had failed to get an adr. The last two meals at LeCellier were very disappointing for all of us and my DH wants no part of this restaurant anymore :goodvibes. I know you really want to go there, but if you don't get it, there are alternatives that you just might like better!

(1) Subscribe to the December Reservation Cancellation Thread: http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2478475 . (2) Make a back up reservation at one of the other good steakhouses. I've heard that SSR's Turf Club is pretty good.

Just keep trying!!!! My trip is in August and in the last month alone I've gotten 3 Le Cellier ADRs for my trip. I stopped trying when I finally found one for the time I wanted! If you put in the time, you'll get the ADR :)

SORRY I've been lurking for some time but I don't want to see anyone upset! There's plenty of time to find an ADR, I would try in the one month window before your trip, this is when I've had the most success. Good luck, I hope you (and everyone!) gets what they want! :goodvibes

I agree with everyone else, just keep trying!! I thought I wouldn't be able to get one for my trip and out of the blue found one opening during the week I'm there. Miracles can happen, lol. :goodvibes:

Sorry, I didn't clarify. There are 4 of us. Me, DH, DD & DS. Apparently this doesn't help, :sad1:.

His partner at work went and LOVED it. DH is a steak lover and if we can't get this, we figure the kids might like Teppan Edo.

You'll get it if you just keep trying! Try everyday! Try twice a day! I've always been able to get what I want if I'm persistant. ::yes::
