I'm not a big TV person, but my family keeps track of this show. I've gotten to work with a few of the contestants (Martha, Hok, and Dominick... sp?) through workshops at national dance competitions. A guy from my studio is auditioning in Atlanta on June 1. He does all of that ticking stuff... he can "pop." He has a really good contemporary duet that our teachers are telling him to use, but his partner is only fifteen years old, and he's not sure if he can audition with her, since she's underage.

He'll probably make the first cut, but he's not very good with choreography... he likes to freestyle.

Wow - that's so cool. I love SYTYCD, but it is not broadcast in the UK at the moment. I dance, so I find the programme really inspiring.

A girl from my studio (who got excepted in to Cornish) considering auditioning!!
Her chances of making it to Vegas are very high, and she has a good chance to make it far in it.
It would be interesting to see her do very well since she's never competed a day in her life all though her solo would do very well in the competitive world!

Hm... David definitely is mentally challenged.
He can't do anything without asking his mom first.

I do! I just watched it today. I wanted to see that girl fall when she did the splits like they said they would show, but they didn't. Lol, I love the show.
