So...this MouseFest thing...

I'm thisclose to possibly throwing my hat in the ring for MouseFest. If I can go, I would be on my own...and while i'm ok with being alone at WDW, I don't want to wander around aimlessly by myself the whole time. I would be there beginning the 12th and leaving on the 14th. Maybe the 15th, but most likely the 14th.

What's everyone planning to do while there when not at the podcast meet?

Anyone going to MVMCP on the 12th?

When's DATW with Mindy et al?

Would someone be my friend? I promise that I won't complain. Much. And I'll go on most of the rides in the parks. Except Mission Space and ITTBAB and Stitch. And i'll eat almost anywhere. Except the German place in Epcot.

See...I'm not difficult.


I've got a reservation booked at the Dolphin...just in case...don't get your hopes up. Or mine.

You can hang out with me since I am going solo also. I would love a buddy to do stuff with. (I am not the most gregarious person and at some of the Mousefest stuff last year I did feel a little "left out" since everyone seemed to know everybody else - it was just my imagination or at least I hope it was. I think this year will be different since there will be more DISers there.)

I haven't really even looked at the Mousefest schedule so I don't have any specific plans. And was hoping to go to MVMCP but am ok with skipping it this year if there is something fun going on.
I am pretty much up for anything especially DATW with Mindy. I don't go on Stitch and have gotten used to not going on Mission Space since I don't know anyone else who will go on it with me so we are good there. And as long as you don't mind me stopping for a beer in Germany I think we should be fine. But I do have to warn you though that I am a screamer on the thrill rides. I try not to but it just comes out before I can stop myself.

I have a list of meets I want to attend, but I've left a lot of time open so I'm not totally commited to being somewhere all the time. That might get too stressful, and we are on vacation after all. This will be my first solo trip to Disney World and I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with myself. LOL!

The Drink Around the World meet day and time has not been decided. I believe we want to wait and see when and where the DIS meet will take place. With all of the other meets to attend it maybe tough to do the DATW during the land events but it could definately work. Heck, we could do the DATW anytime. We'll have a better idea the closer we get to December.

MVMCP for the Mousefest events actually occurs on Thursday night the 11th. But, going on the 12th would be cool if it doesn't conflict with other DHS or EPCOT Mousefest meets. Mousefest is structured and it kind of requires you to be at certain parks on certain days.

Hope you can make it Brandie....And you can certainly hang out with me. I'll need a friend as well. But, it is Mousefest and many DISers will be there so I'm sure we will all be surrounded by friends.

I've never done the Disney thing solo before. I'm ok with being on my own in the parks, but just the idea of being totally alone is a bit weird...lol! I'm used to going with someone else.

I'd like to do MVMCP, but the only night I could would be the 12th...but I don't want to conflict with a potential DATW event...lol

I don't know how into Mousefest I want to get. Some of the meets sound kind of fun, but the only meet i'm concered with is the Podcast meet. If I happen to hit some others, cool...but if not...no biggie.

I had never done anything in Disney solo until last year. My DH and I both got sick on our trip. Me at the start and then I gave it to him so he was sick at the end. He told me to go on and have fun while he rested in the room. I had two days solo in the parks and had the BEST time!
I approached a couple who had a LGMH on their backpack and hung out with them for a couple hours at AK.

SO this year it's all me! DH is cool with it. He admitted to me that he only goes because he sees how happy WDW makes me.

As for MF, I only have a couple of meets planned and of course the megameet on Sat. I am anxiously waiting to find out what the DIS is doing as I WILL attend that meet for sure!

And i'm doing this already for a couple of weeks.
Just way to scared that i miss it and that the event is fully booked and that i miss out the oppertunity to attend this.

I'm going out for dinner now (because we are a couple for 12.5 years).
I know that i'm checking the website every few minuts from this moment on.....

DH isn't a true Disney fan, but he humors me. It's not his preferred vacation destination, but he does have fun when we're there. This trip, he just can't go because of work. Makes me sad...but I understand...and I have my priorities

I'll be there solo. I'm staying offsite with my DB/DSIL/DRugrats, but I've alerted them to the fact that all my time will be taken up with youse guys and official MF events, so I'm afraid you are stuck with me. DATW times will be announced...I'm actually thinking it might be easier to post my cellphone # and whenever anyone wants to start the drinking, I'm there. Only firm plans I have are the DISmeet, the MegaMouseMeet, and the Fantasmic Dessert Party...and that may have to go away, depending on the time of the DISmeet. There are other meets that sound entertaining, and I'm thinking there is a Jellyrolls singalong I might have to attend, but other than that, I'm at everyone's beck and call. Need a buddy? Call 1-800-4URSULA! (oh, cool, now I need an 800 number! Or should that be a 900 number? Hmmmm....)

I have a list of 15 different MouseFest meets I have scheduled. That includes the mystery Dis Meet. And I have no meets scheduled for Sunday and Monday. YIKES. I counted and there are 71 different meets listed for Thursday through Monday. And the the Dis Meet will take it to 72.
