what if you have an old one day ticket from a prior year's package or (as in my case) an employee (not Disney) discount one day ticket (which BTW, I did pay extra for MK, so it's a newerish ticket)? Do they let you in at the turnstiles as long as you have a ticket? So confused...
 
They don't make you pay the difference if you bought tickets before a price increase so I don't see why this would be any different. If it is a valid ticket it is a valid ticket.
 
If the ticket is still valid then it will be honored. However, there are many tickets (especially employee discount ones) that say they expire after a certain date. So make sure you read the fine print of the ticket before you decide to try and use it.
