DS21 accidentally purchased the wrong tickets for Tokyo Disneyland instead of DisneySea! He didn’t discover this mistake until 2:30am when double checking everything before hitting the sack. He was planning to be waiting outside the park by 7:30am that day!

He was messaging me in a panic, so upset he bought the tickets on klook instead of through the Disney website to save $8. So guest services wouldn’t even be able to help him. And there was a major time crunch to solve the issue.

I eventually was able to get on live chat with klook and waited about 7 mins for a live agent. The agent spent about 5 mins investigating the issue and came back to me assuring it could be cancelled for 200yen/$1.30 per ticket (Would have been free if done more than 14 days in advance).

I was so dubious since the ticket was dated that day and when I tried to cancel on the website, it said it was no longer available. And he could not give me a cancellation number. So I asked multiple times to clarify and took dates screenshots of the whole thing.

Sure enough, the refund was processed way more quickly than he said (he told me up to 3 days).

Checked a day later and the cancellation shows on the website :)

DS21 had decided to join his two buddies on a trip to Japan at the last minute. Since they had some extra days in Tokyo, they decided to add on a Disney day (partly for DS’ sake) and chose Disneysea.

DS was put in charge of the Disney portion so he was even more upset as he felt responsible for the whole mess. Their back up was to waste the Disneyland tickets and just buy new tickets to Disneysea.

They took a day of rest instead and they are buying from the ticket counter at the Sheraton Bay where they are staying for the following day. DS is a bit nervous because the agent told him they could not sell him tickets a day early but guaranteed he would be fine the morning of. Counter opens at 6am and DD will get the tickets about 7am before heading to Disneysea.

I’m already going batty sending him pics of souvenirs I want him to buy for me 😂! He just got me a squishy silicone Baymax lightup keychain for 1800 yen / $12.50 (did I spend that much on a keychain?!). And I am drooling over shoulder plushes…

I used Klook for a lot of our tickets and experiences in Japan and I was really pleased too. So glad you were able to get a refund.
