So tell me your thoughts on Sanaa

I'm thinking about doing dinner at Sanaa on my birthday. It will be DH, DS15, DS8 and me. We've never eaten at Sanaa. I really wanted to try it during last year's trip but we had to cancel our ADR because DS15 and I came down with the flu Would like to hear about others' experiences there. Is it a good choice?

Sanaa is good. We have had several lunches and dinners there. Neat experience and quite unique at WDW. The food is Indian and African inspired. The theming of the restaurant is delightful. Worth a visit. Not a signature, but a great experience.

If you can, try to get there before sunset so you can see the animals. Kidani is a nice resort and offers this wonderful experience.

Thats what I was thinking. We really enjoy unique foods and experiences and try to choose those wherever we are. I'm too cheap for signatures at Disney usually (lol), especially when there are so many other good choices. Any particular favorite menu items at Sanaa?

The tandoori lamb is very very good. If you like lamb. The tandoori chicken is very good too, I just like the lamb better. The curries are delicious. And I'm still having dreams about the chai cream. Sooooo good. Oh, and you have to try the naan and sauces!

DH and I both thought it was the best meal we've had at WDW. The bread service and the curries were both fabulous and our waiter was wonderful. Can't wait to go again in March!

The best meal of my trip last year and we will be there in 6 weeks again! The sustainable fish entree was so flipping good, I'm drooling right now. The bread assortment with the dips, so good, kids loved it too. My husband did the 3 different choices with rice and he really liked that too. Very good food, very good service, our waiter answered so many questions about the menu, great view of the savanna, you can't go wrong.

We ate a late lunch and sat at a window-side table overlooking giraffes milling about. In addition to the view, the server was absolutely top notch, her food and wine recommendations were spot on, and we enjoyed fabulous food. The bread service was really fun. Truly one of our top Disneyworld meals. We will certainly return.

I don't think they try to pass it off as authentic Indian -- more Indian-inspired, which it is.

In any case, I had one meal there and enjoyed it. Also, good mojito here.

Bread service is one of Disfoods finest experiences,the rest is good but not exceptional.Prices are fair,atmosphere is kid friendly without being loud.
Be prepared for yummy flavors not normally seen in the US.

One of the best values at WDW in my opinion. I echo the thoughts on the bread service and Sanna is now in our regular rotation.

It's a selection of any three of their breads and any three dipping sauces. The first time I actually tried a selection. Since then, I've pretty much settled on naan and cucumber raita. Om nom nom.
