How can you tell if people are in love by just looking at a picture?

But I agree that middle schoolers probably "date" just to say they date. Because how can you even go on dates, you'd have to have your parents take you. I'm sure two preteens can have a mutual infatuation but can you really call it dating? I don't know.

I am currently single, but I've really been looking. Lately I've just been noticing every teenage guy who passes by, haha. I need a boyfriend.

i've been in a lot of relationships. i've been dating since i was fourteen. and all of that is practice. you don't have to be in love. if i was 19, and in my FIRST relationship, it would probably be a failure, becuase at that point, i don't know what i want, or what i like. thats why people date when they're younger. they're learning what they want, what they like, and what they deserve in a relationship. everything is practice up until you find the person you're supposed to be with. and yeah, i'm probably not going to marry james.

do i love him? yes.
am i in love with him? no, not yet.
will i be? maybe.
does he love me? yes.
are we young? yes.
are we stupid? yes.
but we're having fun being young and stupid together.

thats what its about at our age. being young and stupid. (fyi, he is turning 20, and i'm seventeen.) you don't have to fall in love for a relationship to be fun and worth it.

my boyfriend's name is zach and we've been together for eight months on Christmas

we met in 7th grade and just hit it off almost immeditately like by the second week of school we were inseperable and it was awesome. I fell madly in love with him pretty much from the start but I never said anything because I didn't want to ruin the amazing thing we had.

But then last year around April I got really tired of waiting for him to make a move (that everyone said he was going to) and I asked him to the freshman-sophmore semi formal. And he said yes. Quite enthusiastically I might add.
So we were there together and it was the BEST night of my life, I just absolutely let go and had sooooo much fun with him and everyone, it was great. So by the end of the night I was pretty sure he was going to ask me out or make some sort of move, but by the time there was about 5 minutes left nothing had happened. So I was getting kind of nervous.

So I was just about to leave and he was hugging me goodbye and I just turned to him and said "Look, I'm not sure why you said yes tonight. I mean you probably just didn't want to hurt me but I really think that if we gave it a shot you and me could be something great, maybe even amazing and-" by that point he put his hands on either side of my face and was like "Katie, you talk too much, will you be my girlfriend?" I couldn't even speak I was so happy I just nodded, very enthusiastically. We just stood there and started at each other for what felt like forever, I did not want to move from that moment, it was just too perfect. To this day no other moment has been more perfect than that one.

And, yeah, well we've been happy ever since.
His favorite thing to say about us is, "Wow we really must be meant to be." omg my heart just melts when he says that and looks at me with his eyes and his smile and...oh it's just the best thing in the world I can't even describe it.

Ok no more gushing lol I'm done.

Actually, I was dating his best friend before him and we were totally close then, but I didn't actually realize I loved him till one of my friends pointed out to me, "Hey, Kat, you talk way more about Joe than you do about Seth!" and then that got me thinking and finally I realized, "Ohhhhhhhh I'm in love with him!" and then a whole round of things happened and now, finally, we're dating and it's the best thing in the worldd! His father abused him when he was little and he said that basically I was the only one who he could talk to about that...he hasn't even told any of his guy friends...it made me soo sad because he is just the sweetest person and doesn't deserve to ever be treated like that! So he's got a lot of emotional stress but he never takes it out on any of his friends...he's such a sweetheart! But yeah........he's sooooooo funny and we go together soooo well and now we're like inseperable...
I love him soo much! He's got the most beautiful chocolate brown eyes and you can see into them for miles and miles...and when he smiles his face just lights up and.....

i don't want to be rude, but i think it's slightly strange that you've been going out for a month but you haven't held hands! but maybe that's just me!
