are some concierge planning office slower then others? i've waited days for them to call back via phone (they took days with that) so i've been trying to email them.jeffrey finally emailed me back after i about gave up (it had been 3 or 4 days after my email) he couldn't get alot of the ps i needed so i came up with some alternative ideas which i emailed back to him..it's been about 3 days now and i haven't heard anything

i remember the POLY IPO beening very prompt in their response but this time it's been a waiting game. whats the point of concierge when it would be way faster for me to make my own PS /planning.
is 3 or 4 days the norm for a email response?

Jeffrey, and the other CMs at the Polynesian IPO are the same exact people who handle the Wilderness Lodge concierge. :) When we did our split stay (Wilderness Lodge/Polynesian) this past summer, I had Jeffrey, Tara, and others, handling both portions of our trip.

I think they must be very busy right now. I don't remember waiting 3 or 4 days for a response, and our next Polynesian concierge trip is in 3 weeks. If you need an answer or confirmation to something, I don't think it can hurt to send another email, asking if they received the first, and ask if they have a response yet.

I don't have a lot of patience. LOL So I've made all of my own ADRs and tour reservations for this trip, but I did ask Jeffrey to cancel an ADR that I no longer needed. I had also asked for an itinerary, and when he replied yesterday he said their computers were down and he was unable to send it at that time. He said he'd send it today, or whenever he was able to. For me, it's not a rush, but if there were ADRs that I was not sure of, and needed to know about, then I'd probably call again, or email again.

Jeffrey has been a pleasure to work with in the past, and this time, too. I'm going to see how he liked my gift of maple candy (it's made locally up here in New England) that we gave him last summer, and if he enjoyed it, I'll bring him some more. We also gave some to the concierge staff at the Hawaii building and WL, and to our housekeepers. They seemed genuinely pleased :) (The housekeepers got a cash thank-you, as well).
