So Should I Or Shouldn't I?

With tipping not included and the increase in prices I wonder if it really makes sense to do the plan? We've only been to WDW twice and are staying onsite CR for the first time next April. My boys are 12 and 6. The :wizard: is the WPE (World's Pickiest Eater.)
We won't go to any signature restaurants and will hopefully bring some packaged foods for quick breakfasts. They have fridges in the room (I think:confused: ) so we can scrounge that way too.
So, what do you think? Is the DP the way to go??
Thank you! :cool2:

It really does come down to how much and of what type meals you like to eat. If you mostly get counter service and seldom do a served meal than by all means skip it, if you like the idea of spending time dining and being served and want to experience foods you might not order otherwise, then get the plan. I doube your boys will care one way or the other.
Just remember if you want any TS on or off plan to make your ADRs way ahead.

This is my debate too. I am thinking a TS everyday might be too much for us. Dessert with every meal would definitely be too much for us. I have used the menus on allearsnet.com and played around with numbers. So far my conclusion is, if we use the dining plan or skip the dining plan we will spend about the same amount of money on food. The difference will be the flexibility of not having the dining plan. For example, if all I want for dinner one night is to split a couple of appetizers with DH then I can. If all I feel like eating one night is a bowl of soup and a side salad, then I can. Obviously, I would be getting more food with the DDP, but I just can't picture us eating that much food.:confused3 I just don't know. I am still try to figure it out.
