So sad...no more Mickey Mouse chocolate pretzels

You know the ones in the silver bags? We used to bring a bunch home every trip to have something to munch on and remember our last trip. Didn't bring any back in June because it was so hot and we still had a few bags at home. Well, we went for a long weekend last month, and now they have something called "Chocolatears" instead. The pretzels aren't shaped like Mickey and the chocolate is not as rich (and the amount in the bags is smaller). All around, a big disappointment. Is anyone else going to miss the old pretzels?

I remember seeing pretzels in a silver bag but I didn't realize they were chocolate, I thought they were plain (I don't know how that got by me cause I love chocolate ). I like the ones in the box, they are larger sized mickey shaped chocolate pretzels. 2 of my daughters just got back from DW about 2 weeks ago and they brought me a box. Of course they are long gone . I hate that, after you find something you really like, they discontinue it!!!!

I never had the ones in the bag but the big ones in the box are great. I am still reeling from the loss of my beloved beavertails. Alas I have resigned myself to suffer silently in misery no more beavertails. Goodbye dear friends.

AWW!! I bought some of those pretzels when i was last there in April '05! I am gonna miss those pretzels...

AND NO MORE HONEY POTS?!!! Aw.....are they going to add anything to make up for this loss?

Beavertails are a Canadian pastry, popular here in Eastern Ontario. It is a whole wheat dough, made flat and deep fried, then covered in toppings like cinnamon and sugar or chocolate hazelnut. Really yummy

What about the larger pretzels? Dh and I just had these. They come in a green box I think. Picked them up at the Confectionary, but have seen them other places.

Sorry about the pretzels. They discontinued my daughter's favorite - Goofy Burgers. Now they sell Goofy burger parts so that you can assemble your own. However, our friends went to Disneyland in July and, guess what, they had the original Goofy Burgers -- Yeah! I know it's a long way to go, but maybe they have the pretzels in Disneyland.
