Hopefully the firemen learned something in practice that they can use to save someone's life one day.
I am 100% sure they learned more than something.

The firemen do appreciate the property they protect and I know that even though it didn't feel like that at the time...they do....they really do.![]()
practice burn?????!! What an utter slap in the face.
Are you kidding? Clearly your spouse does not risk their life daily for others and their property.
I am sad for the OP, truly. Practice burns are very necessary.

. I can imagine how you feel, we also built our home ourselves to raise our family and we'd surely be upset and sad to see all our hard work, blood, sweat and tears go up in smoke for whatever reason
! My DH was a volunteer fire fighter for many moons and as others have mentioned, looking from their point of view, their training will help save someone's life. Thankfully, those memories will always be tucked in your families hearts
