So proud of my little man !!!

Since Wednesday cams eye has got worse so that he is no longer comfortable with his eye in and we had to make the decision to leave it out. Cams self confidence depends entirely on his eye being in and looking normal but knowing that after his op he will ahve at least 6 months off school we had to try to get him to decide to go into school. Together we decided to try wearing sunglasses - noone can see then !!
After a really long discussion this morning Cam has gone into school he looks so cool !!
In all honesty I didnt want him to go I wanted to keep him with me but im so proud of him he was so worried but still made the decision to give it a go and its 11 o clock now and he is still there

hope he is fairing better than me who is sitting her choking back tears and feeling really sick with worry whats the betting he comes running out tonight with a huge grin on his face??

Just quickly came on tonight to let you all know he has done so well today - I went to fetch him and he looked so relieved to see me and declared he was so tired and needed to go home to bed !!! bless him he only made it to the sofa before falling asleep - think the effort and stress of today took its toll but he made it through the day and a big to the school for all the effort they put in !!!

Cam is now wide awake after a mammoth sleep and has declared he will go into school again on monday as long as everything remained the same.
Gotta love him and wish i could be just half as brave as he is!!!
