We are only doing Epcot & MK on same day which also happens to be extended evening hours.

Before they were announced (extended evening hours) the original plan was MK in morning, then hop over to Epcot at the 2pm dinner at San Angel @ 7pm and then maybe try and hit one more ride on way out or even try and twist my hubs arm to go back to MK.

Since we are staying at AK and have access to the extended hours I'm thinking we should start later in the morning now, and start with Epcot and then hop back over to MK. I have a lunch now at 1pm for San Angel.

I know this is all a matter of preference (maybe), but since we are going on 4/12 and it will be peak Easter crowds, I'm wondering if we would be more successful trying to do MK at night? Plus our kids are now older 12/14 where we previously have never really stayed late due to their ages.

Just looking for some guidance and thoughts as we also have never done these extended hours and I'm seeing mix reviews where some say you can gets LOTS done, and some saying lines are just as bad....

Thank you all!!!

I think you have a solid plan doing Epcot during the day and MK at night. Just prioritize what attractions are most important for you and your family and you will have a great day. Also, consider buying Genie + to help manage your wait time and get more things done. And be ready at 7:00 am to get that boarding group for Guardians of the Galaxy and I believe that at 6:00 pm you will be able to enter the virtual queue for Tron to ride during extended evening hours. Friendly reminder, that if you haven’t done it remember to make your park reservation for epcot.

I did the extended evening hours on January 4 2023 and I enjoyed it. We went mainly to ride the seven dwarf mine train because we didn’t want to wait more than an hour and weren’t willing to pay for the ILL. When we went to the attraction the sign said 55 minute wait and I asked the cm upfront if that was the real wait time, and they said no it will be like a 10 min wait. We jumped in line and it was a literal walk on, we had so much fun. TL;DR sometimes the posted wait times don’t reflect the actual wait time during extended evening hours.
