So I went and saw the new Harry Potter movie on the 11th. I thought it was pretty good. What do you guys think for those of you who have seen it?

It's better than the book. The movie is probably my second favorite in the series. I hate the book.

The effects were amazing (I mean, the patronus scene gave me wondeful vibes).
I could find a million things wrong with it, it wasn't true to the book.
It goes along with the other movies, not so great.
The third is still the worst movie out of all of them.
Which pisses me off, because the third book was the best one.

The 6th book is my favorite so far so I really hope the movie is good.

I was highly disappointed. I really liked the book, and this was my impression of the movie:

I watched a 2 hour and 18 minute preview. I felt like it was a series of disconnected, shortened scenes. I felt like I was left wanting to watch the WHOLE movie.

On a positive note: Luna was PERFECT IMHO. She was EXACTLY what I imagined.

She was not who I imagined originally (For some reason, when I read the book, I thought she had black hair until I reread it) and when I saw the actress, I was like WTH.
But when I wound up watching the movie, she was perfect. She was so completely and perfectly out there.

i loved it
i loved bellatrix all my friends got mad at me because i thought she was so cool
but she just has a cool thing about her idk it's a weird evil kind of cool

oh yes, her acting was spectacular...totally insane...just as she is supposed to be. they should have given her more screen time. i felt i only saw a snippit of what she could do...which goes back to my last post
