So Olaf is finally going to show up

Maybe a bit late in my opinion but I'm sure he'll have mobs. We caught him at DCA and honestly, as much as I adore his character, his M&G was rather flat

This exactly! We're going in May and my oldest would love to meet Olaf. I am glad that with everything that is being taken away from HS they are finally adding some new things.

We went to Disney on Ice in January. To my surprise, the character that got the biggest screams and applause was Olaf. Significantly more than Anna & Elsa. I was shocked. I think this will be a huge draw at HS. Hope they do Fastpass...

My son is 25 and loves Olaf!! That's one line we'll be in for sure during our May trip. I'm so excited to see him in person!!

By the availability of FP+ at MK, it doesn't look like they are losing steam. But I have noticed less Frozen dresses, less Sven and Olafs being carried around.

They are. They no longer have waits of hours. You can find FP after 60 days, often even at 30 days.
We went during EMH in December, just as the Christmas crowds were peaking and they had no wait at all but Cinderella and Rapunzel had a 15 min wait.

Olaf will be hugely popular at WDW. But his popularity has also dropped at DCA. We went in June and while they made you pull a FP for him they were for just a short while in the future. There was little wait for him. I think they have even dropped the FP for him since our trip. I realize DCA is different demographic but it just shows that all the Frozen things have peaked.

You know I can understand how a major endeavor like turning Maelstrom into Frozenland might require a broad opening description like "Spring 2016", but putting a CM in a costume shouldn't be so difficult to nail down. We walked up to him in October with maybe 1 group in front of us. I actually missed him the first time around because there was nothing signaling a meet there. No FP needed
