ok, i'm all about WDW. i have planning down to a science. my DD and i
will be at DL for the first time 9/1-9/3 and i need help with my game plan.
we won't arrive until after noon on weds. the 1st and we'll have all day on
thurs. the 2nd; so basically one and a half days! Oh, and i bought WOC picnic meals for our first night.

You're coming all the way from PA and only spending 1 full day at the parks? What are you thinking?!?!?

If at all possible, add another day or two. At the very least, plan on a morning at the parks on your departure day.

Fantasyland is not to be missed (way better than WDW), and is best done first thing in the morning. Currently your only morning is Thursday-you'll be at a disadvantage coming in an hour after the Magic Morning crowd. Adding a day will give you access to MM...plus you'll have a second morning.

Regardless, you'll want to make a list of your must-sees- attractions that are unique to Disneyland and ones that are generally considered better then their WDW counterparts. Someone will come along with a list of these.

i know, not a lot of time. but that's all there is. we're actually
flying into san diego for a wedding on the weekend. my DD and i
are arriving 2 days earlier than the rest of the family so we can
drive up to anaheim for 2 days. i've got to make the most of it!

You need a park map of DLR and DCA to help with your “game plan”..it’s the easiest trip planning tool…why? Well if you never been to Disneyland and DCA it helps to see the layout of each park so you can plan your days accordingly! They have maps online, but they are not as good as I heard… so you are in luck, I send out park maps and I have a set for you if you want it.. just PM me and let me know!!

i would do disneyland one day and WOC the next.. or when ever you have your WOC meal booked i'd do dca that day.. etc..

I would try, if Fantasmic is showing to do that the second day. It has some extras that WDW does not.

fantasmic isn't up either day. btw, i know the marathon is on saturday the 4th, but i'm wondering what the crowds will be like on the days that i'm
there?(1st & 2nd)
