Wish we had taken more photos at the Memorial party last night, but we were having too much fun. Here are a couple:

Our day today was spent in Savannah. We did the Trolley Tour and ate at Lady and Sons. It was impressive to see the value that Savannah has placed on preserving its history. Tomorrow we do the Dolphin Tour. The weather remains perfect, especially compared to home in MN which is having a frigid spring (high of only 56° today!)

Checked in Saturday. Just on my way to church but had to do a quick post. This resort is amazing! Love the rustic, relaxed feel. Love the size of the room. Love the cast members. Love the peaceful marsh. Wish DH could be here because he is crazy for marina life. I will post later but I just had to give kudos to those of you who discovered this place long ago!

Well we did our best not to talk about it, but the secret got out, now summer bookings will be sooo hard to get, glad I have that 11 month advantage.

Glad you had a wonderful time HHI/DVC actually might be Disney's best kept secret.

I'm also staying at HHI this week. My DD9 is in the stripes at the far right of this picture! She dropped ice cream on a new friend she met a few hours earlier.

My DS7 opted for the chocolate pudding contest. Apparently he was suppose to pull five gummy worms out of the pudding using only his mouth and spit them out next to the bowl. He ate the pudding and gummy worms. Didn't win the contest, but sure won the belly ache award!

We went to the beachhouse today. Ocean was cold (I'm from Florida), but the kids had fun jumping small waves. The pool was cold too (my kids say that I think every body of water is cold...they might be right).

We are taking life one day at a time and LOVING it. Our typical DVC vacations are fast and furious, but the slower pace of HHI is very nice and refreshing. We leave on Friday.

Thanks for all the pics and info. We leave this Sat and check in Sun also!! This week is going slow. Can't wait for the weekend. What is the pool temp? DS is really looking forward to swimming. Does anyone know when the fireworks start? I think I read the first Tues in June, but not sure?

Just returned from Dolphin Cruise. We did the one out of Shelter Cove Marina on the "Holiday." We needed to be on a larger boat so that we could bring a stroller for the baby. It was a gorgeous day and only cost $20 for Adults and $11 for kids if paying cash and it was a 2 hour ride. We only saw a few dolphins but Cap. Mark did an excellent narration with lots of history of HHI and other info. We really enjoyed the trip. Here are a couple of photos:

Hi DisneyDaddy: by chance are you Elizabeth's dad? If you are, I am Parker's mom and Parker was the "dropee" for the ice cream drop. What a hoot! Anyway, if you aren't the right dad, I still hope that you had a great trip!!
