Ok, so everything is done on my part with the paper work, payment, ect. and got it back the Time Share Store, so I am just waiting on the seller to sign the documents and get those to them as well. In fact, he may already have, I just don't know yet. I am fixing to be out of the country for 10 days and was wondering if there is anything I can do online or by phone to get more info about my membership being ready. Thanks!

When I recently closed with the Time Share Store, they used First American Title as the closing agent. They were pretty good about keeping me in the loop about the process. I got an email that they received my docs. I got an email when they received docs from the seller. That email gave a date they expected it to close. After you get that email, just start checking the Orange County Comptroller site.

Need to wait until it is recorded on county site. Did you confirm with title agency all your docs are correct? It would be a pain if you’re out of country and need to get something corrected.

Well I let them know I would be out of the country and ask them if anything further was needed from me and they said no, so I guess all is good?

As a seller, I returned my documents immediately and it took them an entire week to notify me that they were incorrectly notarized by my bank. Yup, same title company. Not sure what they were doing with them and why they didn't catch it sooner. We had to redo everything.

Every time I see a thread titled "Waiting on the seller", I cringe. You are waiting on the seller AND the title company.

Got the email that it closed today. Well I got the email today, it could have closed last week for all I know.

Check the recorder of deeds website to see when it was recorded. That will help to give you an idea of when to start calling for your member id.
