So, My Friend Was at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter yesterday

And he had a great time. (He is a big Harry Potter fan.) This is what he said:

It was amazing! And absolutely insane. We had to wait over an hour just to get into the Islands of Adventure, and then the line to get into Harry Potter wrapped around the entire park. When I got in the line in the afternoon, it took me just under 2 hours to get in. And even then, there were crazy lines just to get into the stores and such (long line just to get a butterbeer!) But it was incredibly detailed (took a bunch of pics), the coaster they have is a blast (went on twice) and they've got this awesome 3D virtual reality-ish ride that's similar to the Spider-Man ride (went on twice, since it kinda broke while I was on it the first time...)

Well that's wonderful that he enjoyed himself so much despite the long waits and crowds . I saw pictures of the line to get into HP yesterday (from maybe opening day ?) and the line was all the way down City Walk, which yes is insane lol! You have to be a pretty excited to wait in that line ! I really would love to go myself but not being a massive HP fan I'll wait till all the excitment dies down some. Hopefully one day soon!

Your friend sounds so easy going and cheerful despite the terrible heat! I'm positive that I would not be so enthusiastic- I'm just not a true-blue HP fan I guess! I'm glad he had fun. YIKES

I'm surprised he waited in those lines, because he is totally not the wait in line type! And while he's a Harry Potter fan, I wouldn't call him a hardcore fan. I'm glad he had a good time, though. I'm going next month and I was a little worried.
