So, my day began at 3:30 this morning...

Eek! I am so glad we've never seen a mouse in our house. I'm sure our cats would be able to take care of it though. We don't have mice, but we see countless snakes in the yard every year. Given the choice, I'll take snakes (that stay outside) over mice any day.

Luckily, so far I haven't had any run ins with mice....but my cats are SERIOUS spider catchers! :rotfl:

Nikki that was absolutly hilarious! Not that you had a mouse but the telling of it :rotfl:

That reminds me of when we had a mouse in the house and my then 18 month old spotted it....she thought it was the hamster we were pet sitting and kept calling to it. That darn mouse had the smarts to sit right in front of her crib and wash its face!! That cat was zero help and I finally had to catch it in a shoebox, the whole time DD is calling "here mousie mousie" ....couldn't kill it in front of her so let it go outside, all the while telling it "you don't know how lucky you are mouse"!

The one time we thought the cat had actually caught a mouse we discovered it had actually commited suicide :confused3

My Yorkie is a great "mouser". LOL He has caught 2 mice and 2 pet hamsters. He loves to chase the chipmunks in the back yard too. (Guess he's not a Chip 'N Dale fan :confused3) He just shakes them to death and leaves them for us to find. NOT a good thing for your 8 & 9 yr old sons (at that time) to find their beloved little hamsters like that. Loved the story though!!! Hope last night was better!

UPDATE! GWEN DID NOT EAT IT! After a quiet night for the cats and I, this afternoon I came home to discover one of the two mousetraps Sean set up yesterday had a mouse in it. I called my brother to come remove it (even though it was the new enclosed one --- still gross and made me gag). We're assuming this is the same mouse that has been taunting me so I'm calling this a win!!!!!! YAY! :)

I am glad your mouse story had a happy ending. For you, any way!

We get freaked at the library when a bat appears during the day. We usually catch it under a box and bring it outside.
