But it should be winnable to everyone, not just to teams of players. Some kids dont have the luxury of having these sites to set up teams, so they are excluded from the quest.

Maybe they will all start giving out private info so they can form teams, wonder if vmk would like that?

I know there is an easier quest that everyone can achieve but it also has no permanent prizes they are one use magics and a thousand credits. Why couldnt they have made one or two easier quests with lower task wins and one of the new magic or new items so you have something to keep or trade for your work? And still have the difficult quest for those that can do it with all the loot. ​

That's why the basic VMK player doesn't stand a chance. You have to play with a group of friends and FIX the game. How is that playing battle? I have a little buddy on VMK who can get a score of about 450 on a regular day. He has mad Pirate skills, but still can't "win" at this. Not because he sucks at pirates, but because he has no team to let him win. Ridiculous!

I believe she means you have to "fix" each individual game to proclaim a "winner". That is the truth. Each game is "fixed" to a winner.

I think I'm the only one who even noticed the easier quest. They put out two of them for a reason, the difficult one is so insanely difficult for the insanely great prizes. Are we going to see the new items released in stores? I think so, I feel like the prizes that aren't out yet are just to give some people them before others.

Remember that quest for the blizzard beach/typhoon lagoon room, or whatever? Those who could do it, got it free. Others who couldn't could buy it later on.

What I keep thinking is that Walt built his magical kingdom for all to enjoy. So that all who went there could dream and believe that magic could happen. And it was for all, not just a few. Isn't VMK built on that. So why is this quest just for the few.

VMK is getting their anticipated, quick flooded server results, just like they had to known would of happen. It almost feels like a, "Hurry the boss is coming! Do something to make the server look booming fast!". But later down the road, this will be just another brick in the wall that stands between diehard players and the stats building that these events are created for. We are but cattle to be counted.

One player said to me, "I got purple on me from this event.", meaning they were phsyically taking VMK's cluelessness out on themselves. I'm guilty of this too. Though I have no bruises, I tend to drop flying elbows onto the arm of my computer chair. But I'm sure this an everyday occurence within VMK, like peeps flipping out over green car questing and crashes at the worst times.

Attempting this quest is by far one of the worst experiences I've ever had in VMK, and I've had alot! I can remember a day when spending 8+ hours in the game was actually fun and productive. Where and why did things go wrong?

Time to fade away.

This is exactly what I was thinking. I was away from VMK until now (although I was able to access DIS) and saw the madness. I was glad to be away from it because I know I would have attempted it and gotten frustrated.

I am terrible at ship battle so I thought that I wouldn't be able to get that score. I didn't realize it was an unbelievable high score until people began commenting on it. Once I saw that the task WAS beatable with the whole 575 plan, I still knew I didn't stand a chance. How could people pass this task WITHOUT a forum? I have one friend in real life who plays VMK, but that's it. When we need each other for quests, we always ask. But to organize a group of 8? I love DISers and to some degree, I do feel like everyone is part of a family ... but I don't know that I'd feel comfortable enough to put out one of those "I need a group of 7 more people!" threads (I am so bad at pirates that I think I would actually mess up the plans with accidental shooting!). Without forums, you wouldn't be able to discuss the 575 plans.

I am glad that the easier quest is out. I will be able to get at least credits from that. I think VMK had the right idea by releasing that quest too. HOWEVER, I think it would have made everyone feel a little bit better if one of the prizes in the easier quest was a new item. Maybe the silver ears or a new magic or something. Keep everything else rare. But give everyone a chance at ONE new item. I would have been satisifed with that.

I hope that VMK does release at least the magic to everyone. Even if it's at 10K like the other magic released, it is still available for everyone to attain (even if it may take some time to build up the credits, or to trade it later on). I was a disappointed with VMK yesterday, but I still do love the game. I just had to remind myself WHY I love the game.

Thats what I mean....15 hours to get the virtual items?? How many of your team were kids? And how many completed it? I think i heard you also completed the quest, and congrats! I know its hard and thats great if you can do it, but many of pleyers wont complete it or even come close, thast what i was complaining about. I just dont think its fair, bc the game tasks seem very unreasonable.

I would have minded 100 tasks, as long as they could have been achieved.

Well, first off, I now understand why I have been getting congrats comments in game today that made no sense. I have NOT completed the quest. I dream of it.... but have not done it.

It is extremely difficult and there is NO WAY you can complete this quest without teamwork. I believe that's what this quest is truly about, us working together.

You asked about the people I am working with. They are adults, not sure I should have to apologize for that - just happens to be the people that saved room for me and for that I "glove" them dearly. Not ONE of us has yet to completed it. We have stuck together and we are helping each other until we all get through it, somehow, someway.

At the moment, I am helping others since half of my team has been pulled away by real life. So, no, I don't think its easy. I have not completed the quest. I am frustrated and I am working at helping others.

That said, it IS do-able as others have shown us (even, kids). It is not meant to be finished everyone (as VMK stated). It is extremely challenging (and has been the first thing in VMK that has truly interested me in about 3 weeks).

My only complaint with the quest is I don't believe VMK's system can handle the stress that is placed upon pirates to complete the quest. This is not right.

Back to crashing, I mean waiting in line, for the pirate lobby to try to help people move along on this great challenge.

what I find extremely funny about all this is the amounts of reporting has sky rocketed. Hosts and staff getting angry as they enter the pirates lobby to smooth things out!! LOL!! You created this mess you fix it. rofl
