I thought I was doing really well until this weekend...

I have been so preoccupied with getting new clothes for my 3 DD's, I had totally neglected myself. I suddenly realised that after losing 33lbs, that not many of my old things would fit, so I hit the shops!

And was faced with racks of woolly jumpers.:worried:

Looks like I might have left it too late to buy summer stuff. What an idiot.:(

Can you buy it when you get there??? Well done you on losing the weight, that's fantastic ... What an achievement???

Thanks hun.:goodvibes
My DH said that I will just have to buy clothes when I'm out there. My 3/4 length trousers and swimming costumes are all too big! I managed to get a couple of tops, a pair of sunglasses, a pair of shorts and a pair of converse - and DH got me a lovely swimming costume from Bravissimo which is pink with white polka dots.:thumbsup2 I need some cropped trousers and a few more tops.

Try Next - you can choose what you like from their directory and have it delivered to store for free. They stock shorts etc. all year.

That said, I'm amazed that you lost over 2st without noticing!!

Lol, Kath, I lost weight through Weight Watchers but I haven't been wearing my summer clothes for quite a while, so I hadn't realised just how big they were.

I will have a look at Next.:thumbsup2

well done on the weight loss 2st is fantastic .... I thought I was doing well at just 4lbs of 1 1/2 st :goodvibes

You could also try the marks and spencer online outlet store I bought some 3/4 length trousers, shorts and t-shirts from there and they are all sale price which is an added bonus ..... infact just bought underwear for me, DH and DS1 as I packed this afternoon and realised that the 3 of us are sadly lacking in the pants/knickers department :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done on the weight loss. :thumbsup2

Yes, try the catalogues online. You should still be able to get summer stuff, even if they haven't got it in the shops.

My wife is currently buying her 3rd complete wardrobe in a year after her 9 stone weight loss! Costing me a ****dy fortune! :rotfl:

Marks and Spencers have a lot of stuff you can order as well as Next. And if you do it online, don't forget to do it through Quidco and get some money back. I got 15% back on some Per Una stuff I ordered for the wife last week - unfortunately that deal has gone now, but you can get 3% back for the next couple of hours if you are quick.

Congratulations!

Have a look on ebay. Maybe pick up some disney tops - you can often get George ones or walt disney world ones cheaply.

Don't overpack. Remember you will have a washer/dryer.

If you need to buy when you get there target and walmart often have basics like shorts and 3/4 pants cheaply.

Well done!!!

Now summer is over its a great time for bargains on eBay. :)

That's what I did for our honeymoon trip as it was impossible to get summery clothes on the high street.

I got some lovely clothes and most of them still had tags where people had bought for the summer and then the weather was pants all year!

Thanks everyone. Even the online catalogues are depleted! Will keep trawling.:thumbsup2
