So Many Questions...

Hi - The last time we went to Disney it was February of 2019 so when we are there this February I know things will look a lot different! A few questions I have:
- My daughter will want to meet Elsa and Anna. I saw this is back open. Is there a way we find out when they are there and how early we should stand in line? I know there is no hugging but I think even a wave and a hello will be amazing for her.
- Are the boats working from the resorts to the park? Were staying at Poly and hoping to take the boat over.
- Genie+ is confusing but I think I'm starting to understand. However, if we cannot get our picks for the "kids" rides I'm assuming the earlier we go the better the lines will be at MK?
- If my husband and I want to ride something but one of us stays with our son (1.5 years old) can we switch and let our toddler ride with each of us?
- Is the mobile ordering ahead really as awful as everyone is making it seem? I keep hearing horror stories!
- Finally, Ill keep my eye on the calendar but could we still order same day tickets for one day we're there? We are planning on 2 park days but if my daughter really wants to go back to MK we would buy tickets that morning. Seems doable but the reservation system has me a little confused.

We plan on alot of pool/splashpad time but also want to go to MK and EPCOT. I'm focusing on the fact the kids won't know what they are missing, even if I do.

Thank you!!

I can't comment on all your questions, but boats are definitely running from the resorts to the parks. Also, the way rides swap worked for us in April was we checked in and I think they scanned bands or something at the entrance to Big Thunder Mountain RR (the only ride we used it on). 5 yr old and my husband waited in line and rode it while 2.5 yr old and I walked around nearby. When they finished riding, 5 yr old and I scanned our bands to ride, and got to go in the FP lane.
