So many choices, who do I book with ???

I have been shopping cruise prices for weeks now. What I have found is that they are all pretty much in the ballpark for prices give or take a few bucks. Is there any advantage to using Dreams Unlimited for booking. Something makes me comfortable about booking with Disney for a Disney cruise. What do you think?

I'm surprised that travel companies are in the same ballpark as the direct price from Disney. Yes, there is a comfort factor, but if you pick a reliable company you can generally get a better price. The folks at dreams Unlimited have been great in my past travels. Before finding these boards I used a different agency and was happy with them.

I have never seen pricing from Disney that was even close to the discounts i receive from my TA....

I consider a competent agent more comforting, and in fact more accommodating than DCL itself....

I just checked all season's webiste. The Disney Travel Company is approx 100.00 cheaper for a 4 night on the Wonder with their rebate. Has anyone had a bad experience with them?

I am surprised too that booking directly through Disney is the sames as Dreams or All Seasons Travel.. When I was doing my research Disney was about $600 more than anybody else. I ended up going through AAA but only because they were having a "AAA" cruise the week I wanted to go, so I saved $$ and got my soda mugs for free.

I guess it depends on how much of a control freak you are. I am and I prefer to book directly with Disney. If you use a TA, Disney will not speak with you directly. Also, I can make payments on my cruise thru the Disney Cruise website.

If your comfortable letting go of some control, I would suggest using a RELIABLE TA.

My opinion, the amount we would have saved on our upcoming cruise was no comparison to having a bit of control. JMHO
