With the expansion of Fantasy land, I thought I read that it's no longer there?
This bums me out big time, one of the clasic rides I remember as a kid, the witch scared me to death, but I loved it
:sad1:

Not yet, but it will be. No date has been announced, before you ask. ;)

It's not gone YET . . . however, it's removal is part of the planned Fantasy Land expansion.

Moonchild, I don't know the answer but looks like Mesa does. I am responding to the picture of your Mickey Phillie. Did you see the Tervis tumbler at Bed Bath and Beyond with Mickey, Goofy, Donald ...and I think someone else, dressed in Phillies uniforms?!?!

I bought it even though I needed another Tervis tumbler like I needed a hole.....

I thought I remember reading it would close for good in early 2012. I'm not happy about it, because Snow White's Scary Adventures was a ride everyone in my family could ride. The new mine coaster won't be.

I have the one from Bed Bath and Beyond with Mickey and pals dressed as Cardinals! Love it!!

Don't be so sure. The coaster is supposed to be "between the barnstormer and big thunder" in intensity. Fairly tame. Certainly not as easy as sitting through a dark ride, but no where near an Everest experience.

Yup, can't have anything scaring kids at Disney. Lord, how I miss Alien Encounter. :rotfl:

whhhhaaaatt! I totally missed this one !! So sad. My family loves riding this together. And as far as the new coaster... I could not even ride barnstormer. I get sick on even the smallest coaster. Oh, well I guess one less thing that we can all do together. pirate:princess:

Man...the line used to always be so short. Ever since they announced it was closing it has increased (albeit from 5 minutes to 15-20 but still....)

I did not realize that they were closing this ride.I will make sure we ride it when we go!!

A look at the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train Cars HERE.

My family and I are going for the first time next month. This wasn't a ride that necessarily interested us, but since it will be going away, I feel like we should probably catch while we can. It's not too scary for a five year old, right?

Thanks!

It depends on the five year old.

Things (scary things) do "jump out" into your path as the cars meander through the very dark (and noisy) interior.
(Oddly, I find this ride creepier than the Haunted Mansion.)

They do call it Snow White's Scary Adventure for a reason.

You might want to ride it by yourself first, then you can (sort of) prepare your child for what will happen.
(BTW, we do like this ride and will miss it when it's gone.)

I realized its not a huge popular ride anymore and easy to get on but its one of the best for young children and HISTORIC....it should be preserved!
