It must have been discussed somewhere on this enormous forum, but I can´t seem to find it.
So here it comes (again).

For our upcoming trip of 12 days I have like 10 princess costumes for my 6yo daughter, for my 4 year old son however I have exactly 0 costumes (Unless you count a sweaty Stitch onesie than I have 1...)

I´ve checked the Disneystore (UK) and all they seem to offer for the boys are Starwars costumes. My 4 year old loves all the princess stuff cause that´s what he sees from his sister, so if I am to convince him, he may not be Elsa when we head for the parks (Which I don´t mind, but he might if he looks back on all the pictures in a few years), I need to bring a better offer than some guy called Darth Vader.

Soow, any tips on where to look for Prince Charming, Peter Pan, Captain Hook, Kristoff or any other cool Disney Dude...

Thanks again!

You should be able to find Buzz or Woody, I know my 3 yr old nephew has 209874509283750983247509324872509832475043987 woody outfits.

I second buzz or woody. Check amazon. They have the t shirts where it’s costume like. They also have Prince Charming t shirts too. He might like it to go with the sword and shield if you booked BBB for him. I just ordered Maui pajama shorts for my 4 yo. I also got a Darth Vader hoodie from Gymboree for my 4 yo. I think I better get on the order for buzz and woody and Prince Charming! Thanks for the reminder! Is providing links on here allowed? If so I can do that for you.

Mom approved Costumes sells beast and prince charming costumes that are absolutely adorable.

Amazon sells a lot of cute "costume" shirts for boys that will be much more comfortable than full blown costumes. If I can make a suggestion, I would recommend bringing back up comfy outfits each day. Costumes sound great in theory but they can quickly become hot, itchy and uncomfortable.

Oh I love the idea of the costume Tshirts. I have a 2YO boy who's obsessed with Elsa. You're right, it's very difficult to find great costumes (or even pretty clothes) for boys!

We did coordinating tshirts! Olaf with Elsa, Princess Protection Agency with Snow White, Kion with Cheetah, Beast Mode with Belle, Mickey with Minnie.
Worked out great and the characters doted on him as much as her over them (Gaston was hilarious making him cover the ugly Beast on his shirt and told him to walk like that the rest of the day!)

I’ve seen “Princess Protection agency” t shirts on Etsy! That would be so cute - especially if he’s a bitty baby.

My four year old twins LOVE Vader and Stormtroopers. They have never seen a Star Wars movie...all comes from a book series called "Goodnight Darth Vader". He might like it more than you think. They now called DH "Chewie" and I have become "Rey". We fear what will happen when they finally see it and find out they are bad guys.

That being said, they also love pirate stuff, Buzz and Woody and Mickey. So, maybe not a costume whole-hog, but little pieces might work well for him.

@Carla1183 I love that Belle dress. Where did you get your shirts from?
All of them on etsy! I can send you the beast mode shirt seller if you want it, the other one was a friend who does vinyl but i stole the ideas off etsy :)

Her Belle tunic is from Adorable Essentials playground princesses line.

I was thinking the same thing! Maybe you could have our daughter choose a couple of costumes and the other days wear comfortable clothes. Then you'd only need a couple of costumes for your son, too?

I agree, we have costumes for the character dinners (and maybe MNSSHP, if we decide to go) and since some of them are followed by or following after a day at the waterparks, she'll only wear them at breakfast or dinner and then they are off. Just wanted some fun outfits for my son as well during these moments.

We are a set of to practical parents to be dragging a full blown princess all over the parks for a day. :rotfl:

Okay that Adorable Essentials site is deadly. It's too bad it's $12 to ship international. That plus the exchange rate would mean $50 for a shirt. But man, their stuff is CUTE!

I’m not sure where they got it from, but when we went to CRT, there was a little boy about 4 who was in a knight costume. It had a little cape attached to the shirt and everything. He was adorable.

Have you checked Target? I’ve seen a number of really cute shirt / costumes there over the last year for boys. They had all the super heroes with detachable capes. They were basically just regular shirts, but with a cape. There were a number of different ones. Not sure if they would have anything you’re looking for, but being Target, it wouldn’t be expensive if they did.

I know I have completely derailed this thread (Sorry OP!) but for any canucks reading this thread, Walmart has super cute princess nightgowns that are fancy enough to double as play gowns for around $30 CAD. Also, H&M has a really sweet Belle dress for $35 that looks pretty lightweight!

Not a costume - but my son (8 at the time) loved using colored hair spray. We found it at a beauty supply store. Spray in. Wash out. Something fun and different
