Thing you want to do when you hit the world, after you check in of course??:bounce: For me its always a trip to MK, I need to make that walk down main street. DW wants to see the "snowglobe" parade, I have seen it she has not, so I think we shall try to shoot over and catch that...may be a ride on HM and BTMRR too;) What is it you plan to see or do first? :D

I don't know...I want to do and see everything!

Well, it used to be MK, but lately it is go for a margarita at Mexico in Epcot. Walk around the lake and maybe take in The British Invasion. If I am with my kids it is definitely going to MK and doing one of the old favorites, like HM or Splash Mountain.

I just can't wait to set foot in Florida in Dec....lots of people I want to see :)

I'm not at WDW until I've stepped foot inside The MK gates! LOL And now that I'm not a Splash Chicken "Whoo-Hoo!" I think I'll head straight for Splash Mountain!!! :bounce:

Well, last year Katelyn and I got in early, so we ate lunch then hopped the bus over to MK. It was really fun sitting on the curb on Main Street waiting for the Share a Dream Come True parade with her, when just a few hours earlier she had no idea we were even going to WDW!!! heehee:tongue:

My last 2 trips (with my son in June and with a friend over Labor Day weekend), we haven't gotten in until early evening so have gone to AKL for dinner and to look at some animals, and didn't go to a park until the next day.

This next trip Kevin and I will be getting in early and since we are staying at the Contemporary, I think we'll walk over to the MK so I can get my Cinderella Castle fix!!!:Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc Then, after spending a while there, maybe we'll hop on the monorail and spend the evening at Epcot getting our Illuminations fix!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

I just like to walk outside whatever resort I am at, and look around and take a big deep breath in and let it all out.

That's my clue that I am on vacation at WDW.

After checking in and unpacking luggage, relaxing a bit in the room to unwind from the loooong road trip...I will head on out the back door of the Dolphin and make my way over to Epcot to see Illuminations :)

At Disneyland we always try and ride Space Mountain first hoping for a car with music.

At WDW we really never have a plan but go with the moment. This year we arrive about 11 am on Nov 24th and plan to just hang out at the AKL and soak up the atmosphere and rest up for the big celebration on the 25th for my birthday. All I know is that we are going to the MK on the 25th to be a kid again and I can't wait.

:bounce: :Pinkbounc :bounce:

Well when I used to stay off-site it used to be a swim in the pool and then a walk along I-Drive.

In May, my first on-site stay, we checked in and went straight over to MK which was magical and we were there in time to go on Haunted Mansion have a burger at Pecos Bills and then find a good spot to watch Spectromagic - it was the first time I had ever seen this parade and I had to hold back the tears.

This time probably hang around the resort and EPCOT and see how long I can stay up for flying from the UK means it is always a struggle staying up the first couple of nights.

Well, depending on when we ALL arrive, I'm there, WITH ELLEN!! Maybe a mini-meet during the thrill rides tour??? ;)

But, 1st thing when I DO arrrive, 12/3, is TRY to make Chef Mickey's for dinner and, definately make the MVMCP that night!! ;)

This is easy-locate my DIS-CON friends and go where they are. :teeth:

I also need to just wander around the resort a bit...make sure that I am really there!!!! Even though I know I will be...but I like to just take in the smell and let my body just unwind....THEN I will hit things!!!! But my first night is going to be HDD!!!!!

Hey Patrick....tell Ellen to save me a spot for the parade too, we didn't get to see it in January because it was raining so they had to cancel it. It is a MUST do for me!!!!

Well, since I'll probably one of the first to arrive (Nov. 29 3:30 pm), I'll probably take a look outside my balcony at the lovely Dolphin resort, take in the sights from way up....and then go find some food. Evening will probably be spent wandering around World Showcase, and maybe see Illuminations.

The next day, my friends and harem will begin to arrive. Whoo-Hoo!!!!!!

sleep :D

my plane does't get in until almost 10 pm and I start out at 8 am in the morning :earseek: :earseek:

LOL Steve. :teeth: Your harem, I love it. :)

Oh yeah, I arrive with Shannon.....LATE!........so I guess I'll have to sleep first. Darn it! :( Oh well, I'll hit hard the next morning!! :)

Usually we eat at 'Ohana or Boma for dinner after we check in (we usually arrive in the evening). This time I think I'm going to head straight to Downtown Disney (maybe even before I check in!) to get me one of those fabulous chocolate/white chocolate/raspberry cookies from the Gourmet Pantry. Ever since I had one on my last trip, I've been dying to get my hands on another, LOL! Then we'll head over to check in at the Poly, eat some dinner, and go to MVMCP! We decided it would be a really neat start to our trip, and I'm definitely looking forward to it! :)
