Hi all,

I was wondering just how packed the resort pools are with the parks having limited hours.

We stayed at both the Contemporary and the Boarwalk on our trip - we went to the pool each night after the parks closed (pretty much after 7pm each night). The pools weren't terribly crowded - getting a seat was easy and there was enough space in the pool to distance from others.

We were at OKW for 10 days in July. Seating was readily available at the main poor and it was easy to social distance in the water. The leisure pools were pretty empty.

Just got back from Riviera. We went to the pool in the afternoon usually around 1 or 2 pm and one night we went in the evening around 7 pm. There were always chairs available and the pool itself had plenty of room for distancing. Capacity limits were never an issue for us and we felt safe.

I’m curious about Wilderness Lodge pools. We stay there every August and both pools always seem so packed, except very early morning

We have stayed at RR and CCV in July and the pools were not crowded at all. As others have stated, easy to find chairs and distance. Strange thing at the lodge was the number of towels placed by people at 7:30 in the morning at the pool in front of Boulder Ridge. People got up, went down and placed stuff just about everywhere there was shade...then left. Stuff like that makes me wonder what people are thinking.

My niece went to Pop the other day and sent me pictures of the empty pool. She said their was 4 other families there and that the whole resort was nice and quiet.

At the Poly now, the pool is relatively empty in the morning but builds through the day. Yesterday afternoon at about 3, it was hard to get shaded chairs, and there were only a few spots available unshaded. The pool itself could still handle distancing pretty well, but chairs were getting tight. Still, it was the closest it has come during our trip to feeling like "normal" Disney.
