So just how much "Disney stuff" do you save?

Okay, I am tidying up our attic and I come across two fairly large boxes of Disney stuff. You know, park maps, the DVC welcome home folder, resort maps, vacation magic issues, old DVC guide books and points charts, Disney Magazines. We all have this stuff!

How much of this stuff do you save? I think I am going to purge through it and just keep one box.

I keep whatever can be nicely displayed in our "Disney room" (we're finishing our basement & making a Disney family room).

Whatever won't be framed & hung on the walls, look good on the shelves, Mickey coffee table or end tables, or look good displayed in the room, will be pitched. You can only save so much stuff!

I make a scrapbook for each trip. Okay, I'll admit it, I have TWO scrapbooks from each trip. That way, I get to save everything but it's neatly arranged and not in a box somewhere.

I've been making scrapbooks since I was a kid--I found one recently that I made for a trip to Disneyland in 1976. I'd saved the placemats that showed Mickey, Donald and Goofy dressed up like patriots, the park maps, and I even have the ticket books from back when you used to have the E tickets.

Everything I can get my slimey little paws on - I keep it.

My boys just went and visited their Dad in Florida this past weekend. When I pulled out their suit case to use, I found a whole Disney bag...stuffed with more Disney Bags!!! INstead of putting them with the other plastic bags I have... I put them "away".

So - if youre interested in getting rid of some of your saved items, PM me - for real. Maybe we can work something out!

I save everything! I have bins in the attic of travel momentos like maps,guides,even bags!

Because we do scrapbooks we keep all kinds of things that could go into them.

We also just have a lot of Disney decorations around. So much that it causes people to give us even more. Just yesterday somebody gave us something they saw at the dolar store because they thought we just had to have it.

Turns out they make Scotch tape with Disney characters on it.
