So is ANYONE getting into BoG?

Our 180 window opened today. Online at 6:01 a.m. Hit a computer glitch, but by 6:20 a.m. had a table for 4 booked at BOG on the date and time requested!!:cool1:

Our 180 day mark is today, and I got everything I wanted online, including BOG. I had to take 4:15, but I'll take it.

You're kidding, right? There are multiple threads about people having difficulty getting ADRs at BOG. Part of the problem is not that the place is filled up, there's also issues when ADRs are held back for certain dates with no explanation by the fabulous people in charge of those types of things...:upsidedow

I didn't mean customers. I meant Disney over exaggerate the fact that BOG is busy.

I phoned up early (as soon as the reservation lines opened) and had no problems at all for any of our ADRs incuding BOG. But we had issues with Raglan Rd and had to move it to the day after our preffered day.

I've no idea why some people have had trouble finding space. It seems to make no sense when some can get in easily. It seems really random.

If you are staying onsite, you call or do online ADRs starting at 180 days from your checkin. While doing that, you can ALSO make ADRs for the 10 days after checkin*. Those staying offsite cannot book as far off as you can, so you have an advantage.

*or it's 9 days after checkin...not sure if it's a total of 10 days or if it's 11. :)

Thank you for explaining!!

I have two reservations for my trip in September, but they were not easy to secure.

I went online the first day I could and when I put in MK as the park to search, it showed ALL the TS restaurants as unavailable - which of course, I did not believe. After a few days, I was able to secure my solo reservation.

Then I found out some friends wanted to join me at MK one day while I'm there, so I thought BOG would be a nice choice for dinner. So I started stalking the reservation site again. For the two days I had to choose from, they were again showing virtually all the TS restaurants as unavailable (I think there was one time showing for CP and that's it). After three or four days, things opened up and I was able to get a BOG for the time I wanted.

All I can say is it takes patience and perseverance. You have to be willing to search every day, sometimes multiple times per day, but in the end it is possible to get in. It may be easier via phone, but I prefer to book online whenever possible.

After trying on-line (several times a day using the new website) and by phone (called occasionally) since my 180 day I finally scored a 7:20p.m. on 8/29 for 4 this morning at around 6:30 EST. I booked on-line using the old link that someone posted on this thread. Thank you so much for posting this link!!!!

Done with my phone call at 6:07 AM on my 180-day opening and no BoG ressie. :confused3

I had to go to a +10 day to find one and it throws off our touring schedule, but oh well.

I called on our 180 day at 7:00am and got a ressie for the day we wanted. I tried online, but the system wasn't working properly. Hope others get their ADR, try 45 days before or while visiting for cancellations.

I personally wouldn't waste my time. We went to BOG last night and I really don't understand why everyone is so excited about this place. The wait, even with reservations was horrible, the service just ok and the food was mediocre. We sat in the main ballroom and it was noisy, dirty and clearly they were rushing us. We had a 9:15 pm seating and they were moving tables to clean, setting up for the next day service, etc. There was no regard for us trying to enjoy our dinner. I definitely wouldn't go through all of that for an expensive and less than satisfactory dinner.

Awww, sorry you had such a negative experience. That's part of why I try to stay away from those late ADR's. I'm always worried about getting the bum's rush. I hope you consider giving it another try later on down the road! We really enjoyed our experience there last March.

Usually easier to get an ADR that is later in your trip due to the people ahead of your 180 + 10 snatching up the earlier dates. My agent was able to get my third choice which is fine I made sure to plan 4 options for dates since it is a tough one. Good luck!

I tried online at 5:00 a.m. to book BOG for 11/1 for dinner and it was sold out. This was exactly our 180 day mark. Called the next day and got 11/8 dinner reservations at 4:40. Our DD decided to join us for dinner ( I told her I was not waiting for her to make up her mind - she knew for 3 weeks)and she was not able to get on our reservation. That would of been adding 3 more on our reservation.

So excited we got in. DD is going to try to go for lunch instead.

Do it for lunch! The line looks so long, but if you get in the line between 10:30-10:40 it's really not a long wait!

When I booked our reservations it was a good 10 days into the reservation window, and had no probs booking 6:25pm on 30th July! :)

I was able to get a reservation for 4 at 7 p.m. on July 14th, when the 180 day window came up in January. I did it online and had no problem getting the time and date I wanted. I didn't even consider it a "score" because there didn't seem to be all the discussion about the difficulty in getting a reservation at BOG in January. Has all this demand just come up in the past couple of months? Are people seeing that others want a reservation there and it's hard to get, so now, all of a sudden, they want one too and reservations are even more scarce? It's interesting to see how these boards might fuel that.

We got a reservation for our anniversary. They will also be delivering a cake to the restaurant for us.

We will also do lunch on another day.

I logged on at 7 am EST on the day our window opened and had the choice between 4:15 and 8:30pm on our first day. I chose the 4:15 seating. I am so excited, I am the first person I know (other than some of my friends who are cast members) to snag reservations!

Logged on at 6 am today. I got a reservation for 180+6 at 4:15. There were other times available also. There was no availability on arrival day or for the next 3 days. After that there were times for the next days during my +10 time frame.
