So Iran doesn't have a nuclear program either...

More lies from this administration..I, for one, am not the slightest bit surprised. Whatever reason will we have to invade now? Liberate the people?

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Iran halted work toward a nuclear weapon under international scrutiny in 2003 and is unlikely to be able to produce enough enriched uranium for a bomb until 2010 to 2015, a U.S. intelligence report says.

A file satellite image shows Iranian nuclear facilities.

A declassified summary of the latest National Intelligence Estimate found with "high confidence" that the Islamic republic stopped an effort to develop nuclear weapons in the fall of 2003.

The estimate is less severe than a 2005 report that judged the Iranian leadership was "determined to develop nuclear weapons despite its international obligations and international pressure."

Your title is misleading.

Even glancing over the article you linked says something a little different.

They (just like SH was) aren't being fully upfront with inspectors (as stated in the article).

Just wanted to add that apparently the approach by this administration worked. Something youse guys have been clammering for. Diplomacy (of sorts).

The International Atomic Energy Agency, the U.N. nuclear watchdog, has reported that Iran is cooperating with inspectors by providing access to declared nuclear material, documents and facilities. However, the agency also said Iran is withholding information in other areas, and as a result, the IAEA's knowledge about the status of the program is "diminishing."
This is from the same article you quoted.

Glad to see the administration using diplomacy and the IAEA, instead of the neo-con approach.

Hey John, 'youse guys' - we'll make a Jersey guy out of you in no time. ;)

Doesn't matter. Bush still lied.

Ya know... back when Bush said Iraq had or was moving towards weapons of mass destruction (meaning nukes, chemicals, bio, etc.), Hillary and a host of other Democrats were saying it, too. I'm guessing they all, Bush included, based their statements on exactly the same faulty intelligence. It's interesting how they all agreed Iraq had or was working towards the weapons, but Bush is the only one who gets called a liar! I've got news for you... if Bush lied, they all lied! Next year you can go out and vote for the liar of your choice.

Well, you said it too. Turns our you were wrong. Did you lie also, or were you trusting the president, and as such, misinformed (ie, lied to) like most of the rest of America?

So guess what - 2010 is only two years away. Should we stop all efforts and just let them do it and not react until after they've fired a nuke warhead on a missile into Israel?

I'm not going to buy one report as 100% fact, especially when it comes to Iran. The report itself says they are still covering up some things. Where there is smoke there is fire and Amanidja-buymeavowel spews nothing but hate from his very bigoted mouth.

You trust Iran if you want to. Forgive the rest of us if we remain alert and skeptical.

Well I don't trust Iran and they're still a threat to the world. So by the past logic displayed by the current administration, we need to invade the Swiss and perform a regime change. Once we get the troops on the ground we can see how neutral Switzerland really is. You never can trust a country that says it's two main industries are world banking and making nifty pocket knives. They're doing something sneaky there and the security of our nation may be at risk.

I suppose America is going to have to "go it alone" this time as well and the UN will be no help. Maybe France will have a better attitude about this invasion than they did with the last one. I hate to have to punish them again and rename our fried potato products "Freedom Fries".

There are a lot of countries and leaders that I don't trust. It doesn't mean that we should bomb them.
And lets face it - there are many countries that don't trust us, and we don't lay all our cards on the table for them to look at either, does that mean they're justified in bombing us???

No one said we shouldn't be alert, or skeptical.

Israel has had nukes for years, they can take care of themselves. Spewing hate yes. Sort of like Bush likening the situation to WWIII.
Like Mc Cain putting bomb bomb bomb Iran to the tune of Barbara Ann. Like that? And he's a GOP presidentail candidate. Go figure.

...and let's not forget the much maligned French Toast!

I know how many of you are so disappointed, you were looking forward to this "mission". You probably were packed and ready to go. Or were you sending your kids "this time"?

Don't unpack, King George will try to find away to send our kids into another battle. You can take that to the bank.

George I thought Bush only shared part of the information that was given him. Didnt it come out he did not share all the intelligence reports with Congress?

I thought it was OK that Iran gets nukes? :confused3 What's to be concerned about?
