So, I'm watching TLC and they're doing something on "unassisted homebirth"...

Basically, this woman is giving birth at home, with no one but her family around. No paramedics, no midwife, no medical personnel at all. May I add, she's 35+ and she's having twins.

IS THIS WOMAN NUTS?!?!
Giving birth at home would never even cross my mind! What happens if the baby has complications? Every second is precious, precious time. I want to be in the hospital God forbid anything goes wrong. This lady also has no pain meds, which is just not for me.

I have a pretty high pain tolerance but I am NOT squeezing a watermelon out of a lemon. Absolutely no chance in hell.

That show was freaking scary.
I hated the one with the African American woman giving birth in a toilet and then they're like 'um, the placenta isn't coming out.. oh look, ANOTHER BABY'
It scared me so bad.
