I'm supposed to be getting off so I don't miss my bus but I'm wondering... what are your views on school? Any views, do you like it, hate it, wish it were different?

My view of school is generally from the ground up. Rarely am I looking down at it.

I guess the view is okay, I never really thought about it. I suppose it would be cool to look at it at eye level -- that would be interesting. I think my favorite view would be bird's eye view, though. Nothing beats striving to be at a higher level.

As for me, I like school. I like seeing my friends 5 days out of 7, I like thinking that if I work hard, which I do, I have a better chance of going to uni and getting a good job and having a fulfilling life . I will get waay too bored if I don't work when I'm older. And when I say getting a job, I don't mean I wanna find the job that pays the most, I wanna find a job that I really enjoy and that's rewarding! So thinking about the future helps me like school much more.

I don't mind the one I'm in right now.
Now, I like going to school because I don't do anything outside of it and I feel like I belong more when I AM there. However, I get loner moments, and I hate all the people there. I don't like the fact that my locker is in the 2-4 hallway, because I have to deal with whiney brats everytime I go to my locker.
I hate most of my teachers.

Im a freshman in high school, and while I love my friends, I get tired of school. It's a long day-- and my parents expect me to take challenging classes and get high grades. Its stressful, but playing tennis for my school helps, and my parents are laid back at home and let me do whatever I want after I study.

Sometimes I like school, I love seeing my friends, but i hate getting up at 6:15 or 6:30. =[ Yah I know, its pathetic! And then we are all sleeping in school!!!!! And they yell at us, but they expect us to be wide awake? lol happy times are no homework and Spanish class. My faves!!!!!

i only like to learn what i find interesting and what i'm gonna use in later in my life. I don't want to spend all day in a burning hot classroom listening to my teacher talk about indenting paragraphs... i just don't find that interesting

i love history although only when it's about something good i don't like learning about wars. they depress me.

But when I went to public school I pretty much hated it. The friends I had there weren't my best friends, my best friends went to a different school. I didn't learn anything, I felt like I already knew it all. I had volleyball but there at the end I didn't because of an injury. And I've learned that I wasn't really passionate about it. I felt like the teachers and my peers held me down and stopped me from what I wanted to do.

I know school is important though.

Yeah, not passionate about volleyball. If I was then I'd be seriously beside myself with not playing this season. But I'm not, and I don't miss it.

I don't miss public school in any way. Homeschooling is going good for me.
