...for College tomorrow...

Boston University...Class of 2010.

Now I know what you're thinking...

"Aren't you so excited???"

Well...I'm not.

And here is only a small part of why:

I'm super close with my family, and even though i'm not moving that far away...my relationships and my life are about to change forever...and I'm just not that ready to grow up like that! I want to stay a Disney kid forever! It is the first time I will have ever been on my own, unless you count a 6th grade 5-day trip to a place 1/2 hour away with my entire grade. I am scared out of my wits to be in a new environment in a huge city with a ton of people I don't know. And to top it off...I have hydroagoraphobia...that is...a fear of showercurtains...LOL...AKA...public bathrooms. I will not be home to see my little brother through his every day routines...I can't just hug or kiss my parents any time I want. I won't be sleeping in my own bed, or even living in my own house. Everything I have ever known and loved is going to be different. It's such a huge and scary change...and it just seems so overwhelming.

Anyways...off to do another million things before I leave...

Goodnight DISers.

PS - Thank you everyone for always being there for me, just to talk about anything and everything and especially Disney! The best part about online friends...is that you are the few people that I can "take with me"!

ash, everything is going to be okay. I'm sure you'll have a fantastic time once you get there, and I wish you the best of luck.

I graduate from highschool in 2010.

good luck with your new life Ash...
i hope that you have fun and meet a lot of new and interesting ppl...

Now Ash, no stressing out over moving in! :goodvibes I hope that you'll have a wonderfully awesome moving in day and that you'll meet lots of people! Good luck!

Good luck!
Pixie dust for tons of luck.
You'll do just fine.
I'll only be in grade... 11 I think in 2010.. that doesn't add up though, I don't think.

what grade are you in this year?

I'm heading into grade eight.

But it doesn't make sense... I thought you were two years older than me, so it wouldn't make sense. But I may have assumed the wrong thing.

Grade nine - 2007 -2008
Grade ten - 2008 -2009
Grade eleven - 2009 - 2010

maybe it does?

Heh, I know I've already wished you luck and all, but you can never hear it too much, eh?! LOL.

Good luck with everything you do and all your studies! I'm sure you'll succeed and do a lot with your time there. :thumbsup2

Here yee, 2012. I still have not a clue what I want to major in, probibly Automotive Management or Air Traffic Management....

Good luck! It's a big adjustment, but you'll make it. :goodvibes

I'm a year behind you.. but my older sister is a sophomore in college and she calls every night.. she's still a huge part of our daily routine.

And the public bathroom thing: make friend with upper classmen who have apartments and use theirs :thumbsup2

:grouphug:

good luck ash!
public dorm bathrooms arent so bad... :) except the water pressure in the shower SUCKS. lol.

college life is awesome, and I know you will have a blast!

Wow I live pretty close to that college. Since your from Mass you must live closer. Goodluck with everything!! :sunny:

Good Luck! You will do fine! I went to boarding school at 14, it was really scary and being away from my mom was really hard. But there are people there that will help you get through it, and we are always here for you too. And since you live close, you can go home once and a while. eventually you will get into a rutine(SP?) at school, make alot of friends and then you will never want to go home(kidding, but you will feel like it is your home). but like I said befor lucky for you you live close to your family. Up untill this year my mom has only been 45 mins away from me, but we are moving to TX in September(well she is, I will be in school) and I will still be going to school in CT so she wont be right around the corner for me anymore, and I am going to have to depend on my friends a little more now. But good luck and have alot of FUN!!!
