It's more than wide enough. The rooms are all large enough that there is really no need for a 10-22. Now that there's a 6D out, I bet 10-22s will go down in price on the secondary markets, so I'd wait a bit if you really want a 10-22.
I've always used a combo of a UWA and a fast prime when in there. There's plenty of light in there during lunch hours, but at night, I think you'll want a f/1.8 or f/1.4.
