So, I'm Buying This Tomorrow....

I often wonder how many people actually use all of that technology now found in most cars? Seems like car companies are in a race with each other to add a LOT of seldom used features. You can easily get distracted from driving if you start playing around with that panel on the dashboard that looks like a computer screen.

Yeah, I'm a little concerned about it - even the AC is on that thing! But the thing has voice command too, so I shouldn't have to fiddle with it.

I've been a little nervous about going for such a new car, but used prices are pretty high, and Subaru wants to play ball. I basically got it for sticker, unlike Toyota who wanted to jack a 28K car to almost 40! All told, she's mine for $32K and change, including all taxes and fees, etc. It's the Sport modle, so the mid-level trim with a few extras added. They threw in the crossbars for free since the red one that I test drove had them and they knew I wanted them, but I didn't want red.

Awesome! Here is hoping the new car smell lasts and lasts!!:car:

I hope you don't mind if I go :offtopic: topic for a moment.
OMG this cracks me up!1686867838974.png We just got back from our trip and I kept whipping out my credit card like it was nothing but funny money. Maybe the way BrianL feels about paying for his new car. . .

Shiny - and it's like moving into a spaceship. The interior - man-oh-man!

Do you know how many buttons my current steering wheel has on in? ZERO if you exclude the horn! 😁
We bought a Toyota Camry almost 3 years ago. It's maddening because all the buttons are on the opposite side from any other car I have owned. Cruise control on the right, radio on the left.

Yeah, on my current Toyota, cruise control is on a stick on the right. This car has it on the right of the steering wheel. The coolest thing though is that it can keep a set number of car-lengths behind the next vehicle. It just does that! I'm sure that's old news to some of you, but I'm driving that '02 Celica so.... 🤯

Lol that’s how I feel too sometimes. Reality kind of bends at WDW where what’s a few more hundred? Funny money

It’s all good. Especially for an awesome new car surely to get alot of enjoyment from.
