True. I wouldn't say it's the best show, as Fantasmic, IMO, is the best "show" but the use of the projections combined with the fireworks makes it pretty darn awesome!

I just read your report on the other thread. Yeah, Symphony in the Stars was, IMHO, the BEST fireworks show on property, but I would agree that SWaGS is not s fireworks show but it is very well done

I loved the show. We are huge Star Wars fans. But the clips jump around out of order, and I found that distracting and a tiny bit annoying. So not being a huge fan of the movies, you would not be bothered by that, hahaha.

I also liked the prior SW show, which was the (fantastic) music and more fireworks than the new show. The music is so amazing, the show is worth a look.

I also thought it was cool that the storm troopers walked us to the viewing area. My friend enjoyed it so much she's going again this weekend but she's a star wars fan. However I wouldn't hesitate in doing it again either.

Oh no, I have never considered a dessert party but you might have gotten me at Stormtrooper. I had no idea you got a stormtrooper escort. It's silly but I really loved seeing those guys walking around. Hmmmm. I wonder if DH would be willing to consider it a Mother's Day present ...

I probably should have said I never watched any sort of Star Wars/Trek/anything science fiction for my own pleasure. My (now adult) DS is a huge sci fi guy and I was around it a lot vetting movies and stuff when he was little. I even camped out for movie tickets back in the days before online sales. I just don't like the sci fi or futuristic action/adventure genres.

After watching the show on YouTube I think I'll probably give it a miss. I hate all that jostling for a spot and it sounds like this one has an especially limited sight line.

I was all grown up when the first Star Wars movie came out. I've always thought the movies were cool, but would consider myself a casual fan. As a Disney enthusiast I thought it was great they acquired Lucasfilms and the SW franchise. I have a hunch that if this show is as good as most people say, I could become a convert. One must not underestimate The Force...or The Mouse.
