Let's say you're at AK and lines aren't too long, so you cancel your last FP+ and then leave the park. Is that third FP+ just gone? I know they're all supposed to be at one park.

Dont' cancel them unless you are sure you don't want them, or you know you don't want to change them to something else in that park. Because once you cancel one or more you cannot get them back.

Instead of canceling it, change it to something else for the soonest possible time. Use it or not. When you go to another park, you can try for another FP+ (at a kiosk) as long as the original 3 are used or expired.

Unless Disney has changed it, once you've used your first FP+ selection, you can't cancel any of the remaining selections.
