Hi all,
And no,i did not get arrested.Went to a different fire house to do some overtime,in downtown brooklyn about 3 blocks from brooklyn central booking and the courts.Anyway we get a run there and this being my first time in the "holding area of jail" Al i can say is WOW,i got called a few names that the dis will block if i try to type, but i did manage to get hit on by a few male inmates.See i still got it
Actually this palce is reallly out of control and even that the convicts were behind bars i still was slightly nervous. There were about 2,000 people under arrest there and the call was for a carbon monoxide alarm and the first thing i thought was if it is a legit job if we try to evacuate this place thier will be a riot and someone is going to get killed with the someone in mind as me or my guys.Out of the 2,000- around 200 of these convicts were out of control and talking trash as well as throwing at us,the FDNY the ones there to help them.I can honestly say i have never said this about any location before but i hope in the rest of my carear i never have to go back there again.Talking to some of the guys from this fire house with expirence in this prision,i heard horror storys with FDNY getting assaulted and even 1 being set on fire some years ago at this place.Btw the one that was set on fire was very minor and someone threw lit rubbing alcohol from a cell on his shirt which caused him to have minor burns, but burns non the less.
