So, I think I'll change my PS.....

I was all set. MGM last Sunday of June...EvEMH's.....PS @ Sci-Fi before the parade...... Then I checked June hours when they were released. Parade is 5:30, not 3:30 like I thought! Our PS is 2:00, but now I'm thinking of changing it to 4:00pm. New plan: Do MGM in morning till about noon or so. Go back for a break (we've never done this before) and lunch. Head back to MGM for 4pm PS. Watch parade after eatin'. Stay in park as long as we want, taking advantage of the EvEMH's...which could be till 1am....if DS will make it!! Sounds like a plan, right?? I should change that PS from 2 to 4?

I would first check when the dinner hours at SciFi start, so you're not paying much more for the same meal. Then, I would ask if you're going to do dinner there anyway, why not do it later on in the evening? I know I would definetly be hungry later in the evening if I ate dinner at 4. To be honest, I don't know if I would do the entire day in one park (if I had hopper passes, of course). You could always do a different park in the morning, or sleep in, then go see the parade and eat dinner at MGM and stay for the evening hours.

I checked allearsnet. Dinner starts at 4. BUT, what if we arrived 10-15 minutes early?? OR made PS for 3:45? Would that be lunch still? Also, can we still get a burger for dinner because it's not listed on the "dinner" menu?? I'm guessing a burger would be the same price at lunch or dinner?

Then, I would ask if you're going to do dinner there anyway, why not do it later on in the evening?

Because we eat earlier rather than later and just have a light snack later (about 7ish). (We normally eat dinner by 5 at home on a regular basis anyway).

This doesn't bother us... we are only in WDW for 2 days and like to make the most of our short time there. We have never "taken the break" mid-day like lots do...so, we were thinking of trying that this year. We only have 1 park 1 day passes (for now), so there isn't any hopping for us.
So given all this info, would you make the PS for 3:45-4pm?? After eating, catch the parade and stay the rest of the evening for EvEMH's? Fantasmic has 2 showings that night and we plan to stay for the second one. Whatcha think?? Help!!

I've heard that even if its dinner they'll let you order a burger off the lunch menu.

Well, I did it....changed PS to 4pm. I did give some thought to the lunch-dinner cut-off time thing.... On the advice of DIS, we're sticking to burgers. That is not on the dinner menu, but I'm sure we'll be able to order them anyway. Think the price will be the same or more simply because we'll be ordering them at "dinner" time?? Either way, this time will work better. We'll be there in the morning, leave early afternoon for our break. Go back to MGM for PS, then watch parade, then stay till the wee hours of the night!
