I know the club rooms are hard to get but staying club level is the best part of owning at AKV. All the other great parts of the resort don't require ownership of AKV points. You can easily spend SSR points at AKV for example. It's fairly easy to get at 7 months.
Your 2nd part is a good one. We stayed at AKL a few months ago and it was great. Super quiet.
Before we went to WDW though, we kept hearing about how POFQ was so quiet and calm. Took a bus to HS and then over to POFQ for beignets. The resort was NOT quiet or calm. The complete opposite of AKL.

Cool! Thanks for the info! That works out fine then because it means that we will not have to worry about potentially being displaced and we already know what to expect. I was a little worried that we would have the club level booked and then get bumped out because the room would get taken offline for refurbishment. That is how my luck usually runs.
If you have club level booked, you should not have to worry about getting bumped.
We were booked in a CL studio a couple years ago and they had a maintenance issue with a couple of the sixth floor CL rooms.
They gave us a Savanna View studio on the fifth floor and linked full Club Level access for us to use the CL lounge anytime we wanted.
It was one of the best stays we have had.

We have had the same thing happen. It made grabbing a snack very inconvenient. We didn't want to use one set of elevators to go down from our room to the lobby....walk across the lobby.....take another set of elevators up to the lounge. We did not avail ourselves of the free drinks/quick breakfast/snacks nearly as much as we would have. We have been fortunate to stay club level a handful of times. If we are ever bumped to an area across Jambo, we will ask for points back, which we should have done.
