So after seeing so many beautiful pictures of people's Dessert Parties, I think I am going to do it. After some good input from you fellow DISers, I think I may have come up with a solution to my tight budget. I learned that if you have your reception at EPCOT that they charge you a location fee for the reception location, but then waive the DP location fee. AND I found out Living Seas has a minimum of only $3500 for food and beverages. At the Boardwalk Ballroom which is where we were originally going to do the reception it is $100 per person. We have 58 definite guests and possibly going all the way up to 70. I think it might be cheaper (depending what food we choose for the reception and what desserts we choose) to do Living Seas and a DP.
