Ok, So I'm logged on to my husband's side of the computer today and his AIM connects automatically... I see Jeff online and think, "I haven't talked to him in forever" So I say hi!
We chat for a few minutes and catch up on family news... then he mentions the Sept Pin event and I think hmmmm that sounds like fun hmmm wonder if We ( DH and I) could go...So while I'm chatting with Jeff, I'm also searching airline fares. Well, I found one that was good! THEN I call DH and he says, go to Disney? SURE. Then I call mom and she CAN watch the kids for me that week-end....
So Flights are all booked and now I'm all excited!!
Thanks Jeff! ( and I really do mean it!)

Woo HOo, that has to be the best surprise of all, finding out you're going to Disney in about 50 days and you had NO CLUE!
So who all am I going to get to see???

How about in 2002 when JudySue and I each had to go to our bosses (In Washington, DC) on May 16 and tell them we had to make an EMERGENCY trip to WDW leaving work early on May 30.

Of course we are both officers of Friends Of Figment and we found out the evening of May 15 that Journey Into Imagination With Figment was having its soft opening on May 31 and official opening on June 1.

Back the truck up, how am I getting blamed for this? The way I remember it, Kathi logged on then started IMing me. First she wanted to know what I was wearing and I have no idea where that was going. Then she kept calling me Rick. Then all of a sudden she wants to know if I want to have a romantic weekend in September so I suggested we go to Disney World and hang out at the pin event. Next thing I know she is asking me if I thought her mom could watch the kids. At that point I had to confess that my name was not Rick and although we are good friends I was happily married to a wonderful woman who beats that message into me daily. But I did think the September event sounded good (the pin event, not the romantic event).

and YOU started talking about the Pin event and I asked when it was and YOU said we ( Rick and I) should come and YOU said you thought I could find good flight prices since Lauri had and YOU called my mom--
ok, so he didn't call my mom.. but he did do all the rest!!!

But the main point is, I am so glad he told me about it and so very very glad that it works out Rick and I can come.


But it's still Jeff's fault... everything is Jeff's fault.. just ask Trina!!!

I had to take all my birdies out because I was worried I would be over the signature guidelines. I still have all 14 of my feathered friends though... and boy do they not let me forget it.. CHEEP CHEEP SQUAK PRETTY PRETTY PRETTY BIRD! (That is what my house sounds like day and night and that's just the noise coming out of Matthew!
