So I just started watching "The Office"..

...Better late then never I suppose. Anywho on our Netflix instant thing they have 4 seasons of the office, I have just gotten through the 3rd season and my main observation is that I have a HUGE amount of disdain for the character of Angela.


I swear every time I see her or hear her pinched , icy voice I want to wring what's ever in my hand.

Are they canceling the series after Steve Carell leaves?

No the series will continue without Steve. Apparently they are confident that they can overcome his absence.

The best thing about the show is Dwight!! Though we do love Andy now too.

Maybe when Steve Carrell leaves they will bring in David Brent (Ricky Gervais)!

You're not alone; I just watched Seasons 1-5 within the last year! A friend introduced me, and I became hooked. He even gave me a Dwight bobblehead for Christmas, which I absolutely love

My favorite show, Ugly Betty, ended this year. My brother in law tried to tell me to watch The Office but I just didn't think the episodes I had seen were funny. He made me promise to try to watch from the beginning and see if I liked it better. I am obsessed now!! I love Andy! Too funny.

I started watching the episodes in syndication..and love it! Now I know what my family was talking about. I think you have to watch a few episodes consecutively and become more familiar with the characters. It's really hilarious!
Love Jim and Pam. Can't STAND Angela ...and feel sorry for poor Toby . I could go on and on...love em all.

I actually like Angela. She makes me laugh. Did you see the episode where she was grooming her cats? LMAO That is such a fantastic cast. I think that Steve Carrell's character will be tough to replace. I LOVE Dwight.

I love the Office!! It's such a good, witty show. Pam and Jim are my favorite. I met Rainn Wilson, aka Dwight, a while ago (one of my professors was his cousin) and I had no idea who he was since I didn't watch the Office but I thought he was hilarious even then! Enjoy the show!!

I also love the episode when the main branch is going to shut down the Scranton office. Pam says something like, "I never thought it would end this way. I thought I would slap someone in the face and run screaming out of the building!"

Hmmm..I always think like that about MY job!!
