I told the guy look, I have the check in front of me all I have to do is write the pay to the order of and take it 2 blocks to the post office right now. If you can get me into Jambo house I will do it right away, I don't need to think anything over, it is all set and I am sure I want to do it, he said he can check with his manager and might be able to get a manager to approve it, so now I am laying in wait with my fingers crossed.

I really hope this works out!

I also bought 100 points today but with Kidani. I really had no preference since we are going in Dec. on rented points anyway. I got Dec UY and get 100 this Dec. I am very excited. This was a great way for us to get in the door since 160 was out of our price range for now. Yeah!:)

Congrats to you too!!!

Congrats to you!:cool1:

I have a question though. What's the difference between points from Kidani and points from Jambo? I thought that if you have points at AKV it's all the same.

The points will eventually be all the same (I think, not sure Jambo will have priority on concierge and value or not), but right now, kidani is not open, so those of us who bought at Kidani, cannot use them til Kidani opens.

So, if you have Kidani points you can't make a reservation anywhere until 2009? If so, do you have to pay for those points now?

Where do you think Disney gets the money to continue construction?

I've been telling family and friends about this new offer. It's a great way for folks to jump into the DVC pool and get their feet wet with some points at a great resort.

I cannot make reservations anywhere until May 2009. However, I do not pay any maintenance fees until May 2009. Therefore I pay no maintenance fees on my 2008 points, and reduced fees for 2009.

What are the incentives for the 100 pt deal? Are they offering the same matching points at SSR and free 2008 pts? Or is it just the $8/pt off?

Well then that's not too bad. Enjoy your DVC membership!:goodvibes
