We are eating at Teppan Edo and I am wondering if I will just be able to get him chicken and rice. No way he is eating the noodles or vegetables. (He eats a lot of vegies, just not cooked ones.) Anyone know?

Last time we were there he was only two and he ate all of DHs chicken from his meal. This time, DH actually wants to eat his own food.:rotfl:

I got one of those too! Yes, you can definitely get just chicken and rice. They also have a kids menu with tempura chicken, rice, and a fruit cup. But just tell them what he likes and they are very good about accommodating everyone.

P.S.-it's a great show! My DH didn't think he would like it,especially sitting with strangers-he and DD had the most fun out of everyone. Have fun!:)

My son was very ketchup dependent at a younger point in his life and I had brought in ketchup packets so he would eat his meat... our chef did a double take at that but then pointed to the table next to us where a teenage boy was
eating pizza he had brought to the teppan table in a syrofoam container! :scared1: Our chef rolled his eyes and we all laughed. :lmao:

I think that was the same trip my dd ordered "plain grilled chicken breast" at a variety of WDW restaurants and all were accomodating even if it wasn't on the menu.

Please read a previous post of mine to get some perspective on how far Disney will go the extra mile to please their guests.

I never did get the phone number, but we had ADR for BG on something like a Thursday, so we just stopped by the restaurant in person earlier in the week for our request. They were very accomodating and even brought out a glowing Tink clip-on this time.

:rotfl: I love that phrase! This kid is so picky that he just figured out about three months ago that ketchup is really good on fries. He had never tried it before. :confused3 (he is 8 btw!)

Thanks for all the replies. Good to know it will be handled easily.

I also used to have to carry those little travel packs of Jiff peanutbutter because he wouldn't eat butter on his bread in a restaurant! He is a teenager now and a much more adventerous eater! :thumbsup2 I uses to worry that WDW is a very tiring place and kids need to eat when they are there to keep their strength up!
